Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day1ISTANBUL – AMMAN

We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticketing and boarding formalities, we fly to Amman on a Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we board our private coach waiting at the airport and begin our panoramic city tour. Jordan's modern capital, Amman, was originally built on 7 hills like Rome and now extends across 19 hills. In this city blending old and new, sights on our panoramic tour include the Roman Theatre, which seats six thousand people and is still used for cultural and artistic events; the Amman Citadel, located on one of the 7 hills that form Amman; the Umayyad Palace, consisting of ancient city remains; and the National Museum. We then depart for our tour of the Ancient City of Jerash. Known as 'Geresa' in Roman times, with remains dating back to 6500 BC, Jerash has been home to many civilisations over the centuries and has survived intact since Roman times. Our visit to the Ancient City of Jerash takes us on a brief journey into the past. After our tour, transfer to your hotel and free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.

  2. Day2AMMAN – DEAD SEA – MADABA – MOUNT NEBO – AMMAN

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Madaba & Mount Nebo & Dead Sea tour with lunch. We first visit Madaba, the city of churches southwest of Amman. St. George's Greek Orthodox Church is known for the Madaba mosaic map, the oldest known map of the Holy Land. Dating from the 6th century AD and measuring 21.5x7 cm, this map covers the area from ancient Byblos (present-day Jbeil, Lebanon) to Thebes (Egypt). We then depart for Mount Nebo. At approximately 817 metres above sea level in Jordan, Nebo is the highest point of the Abarim Mountains, of which it forms part. It is mentioned in the Tanakh as the place where Moses was shown the Promised Land. Our tour continues towards the Dead Sea. During free time here, guests who wish may swim in the Dead Sea, weather permitting. After a lunch break, transfer to your hotel and free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.

  3. Day3AMMAN – PETRA – WADI RUM

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Petra tour with lunch and Wadi Rum tour with dinner. We begin with a visit to the Ancient City of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's 7 wonders, which served as the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom between 400 BC and AD 106. During our tour of the city, also known as the "Rose City" for its pink, red, yellow and orange rocks, sights include Al-Khazneh (the Treasury), the Roman Theatre and the Royal Tombs. At the end of the tour, we stop for lunch. After lunch, we depart for Wadi Rum, Jordan's largest valley. Upon arrival, free time to settle into our camp rooms. Dinner and overnight stay at our Wadi Rum camp.

  4. Day4WADI RUM – AQABA

After breakfast at our camp, we depart for our safari tour in Wadi Rum. We take a vehicle safari through Wadi Rum, an area of 74000 hectares where we will see pink sand and unique natural formations. At the end of the tour, we depart for Aqaba. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour. Known as the "Bride of the Red Sea", Aqaba provides Jordan's access to the Red Sea and has held great historical importance due to its location bordering Egypt and Saudi Arabia. With 300 sunny days and a sea temperature that remains unchanged throughout the year, swimming is always possible in the city. After free time for shopping and lunch in Aqaba, where you can find products unique to the region and the country, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.

  5. Day5AQABA – ISTANBUL

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and

Free time until the transfer time announced by our guide. At the time specified by our guide, we transfer to the airport. After baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures, we depart for Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Our tour and services end upon arrival at Istanbul Airport.

Tour conditions and notes

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Our tour requires a minimum of 40 participants. If there are insufficient participants, the agency's latest cancellation notification date is 21 days before departure. You will be notified through your agency if the tour is cancelled due to insufficient participation.
  • Where the itinerary specifies only a hotel category without naming the hotel(s) and/or lists alternative hotels for the same destination, your agency will inform you of the hotel(s) 48 hours before departure.
  • During trade fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments and similar periods, hotels may be located farther away than the stated distances in km or in a different city. In such cases, your agency will notify you 48 hours before departure.
  • The panoramic city tours included in the package provide a general introduction to the cities and are conducted entirely from the vehicle with commentary from the guide. They last no more than 2-3 hours and do not include admission to museums or archaeological sites. Fly Express is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours specified in the itinerary cannot take place because local authorities prohibit visits or entry at the scheduled date and time, because of events or road closures, or because weather conditions make the tour impossible. Where roads are closed or vehicle access is prohibited, some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where possible.
  • Rooms for 3 guests are subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the 3rd guest is smaller than a standard bed. Rooms for 3 guests consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are folding beds or sofa beds. Participants making reservations for a 3rd guest and/or a child are therefore deemed to accept the bed type and any limited space in the room. Child discounts apply to only one child within the applicable age range sharing a room with 2 adults. Hotels do not guarantee beds for children aged 0-2.
  • Hotel breakfasts included in the tour programme reflect the breakfast traditions of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, comprising butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee. Groups may be served in a separate room allocated to them.
  • As tour flights are booked with group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the latest flight details with your agency. Your agency will provide the updated times with the tour information.
  • Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing domestic flights. If a guest purchases a domestic connecting flight independently from a provider other than the agency, they cannot claim any refund from the agency if the tour is cancelled by the agency or the flight times change. By purchasing the tour, the guest accepts in advance any financial or non-financial losses that may arise from the cancellation or alteration of the tour. Fly Express cannot be held responsible for these circumstances.
  • Under airline rules, if the outbound flight on a round-trip ticket is not used, the airline will cancel the return flight.
  • Guests joining the tour without flights must make their own way to the tour's starting point and arrive on time. Otherwise, they will be responsible for arranging all their own transfers.
  • Fly Express is not responsible if guests are unable to take their flight because they are not at the specified airport at the times advised in accordance with airline rules, fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete these procedures on time but are unable to board the aircraft. Guests who miss their flight are responsible for all expenses required to join the tour, including new round-trip flight tickets and transfers at the destination.
  • Tour participants are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports / identity documents. Fly Express is not responsible for items that are left behind, lost or stolen. If forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to return them to the country and/or their owner, and any costs incurred in returning them are payable by the owner.
  • In cases of illness, loss, theft or similar incidents, the guide cannot accompany guests individually, as the guide's priority is to keep the group together and ensure the tour continues.
  • When purchasing the tour, you must provide your name as it appears in your passport, your date of birth and your passport number accurately. Flight tickets are issued using this information. Any ticket cancellation or change penalties resulting from incorrect information will be charged to you.
  • Some airlines may charge for food, drinks and online check-in services.
  • Specific coach seat numbers cannot be guaranteed during the tour.
  • The times announced by our guide during tours are departure times, when the vehicle starts moving. Our guide is responsible for treating all guests equally and will depart at the meeting time without waiting. Guests who arrive late must make their own way to the next stop.
  • The participant agrees in advance to join the tours specified in the itinerary without disrupting the programme and to pay the tour representative separately during the trip the amount stated in advance in the itinerary to cover expenses such as local guides, museum & archaeological site admissions, city taxes and audio headsets, where applicable. The participant has been fully informed of these arrangements.
  • Optional tours are organised by the local agency providing our services and require a minimum of 20 participants. If there are insufficient participants, the tours may not operate, or their prices, content and vehicles may vary according to the number of participants. The guide may also change the days and times of tours according to the opening schedules of museums and archaeological sites and the weather conditions. A different guide may accompany guests on optional tours.
  • In our classic packages that do not include optional tours, participation in these tours is voluntary. Guests who do not wish to join optional tours arranged during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest stop along the route. These guests will be dropped off at the rest stop before the optional tour begins and picked up from the same location after it ends.
  • For programmes that include the additional tours, museum & archaeological site admission fees must be paid to your agency at the time of booking or to the guide during the tour.
  • Fly Express acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Scheduled and charter flights may be delayed, and flight times may change before the tour and flight. Fly Express is obliged to communicate these changes as soon as possible. By purchasing the tour, passengers acknowledge and accept that flight details may change.

VISA

  • Turkish citizens do not require a visa. Passengers may travel with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end of the trip.
  • Guests travelling on Turkish green passports issued more than 10 years ago must renew their passports. Otherwise, they may be denied entry to their destination country and/or boarding by the airline. In such cases, responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • Having a complete set of passport and tour documents does not guarantee entry to the country; immigration officers have the authority to deny you entry. Fly Express is not responsible for this; responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • To avoid problems with border officials upon arrival in the destination country, passports that are torn, worn, water-damaged and/or have sustained similar damage must be renewed. If the destination country requires a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • When guests under 18 travel alone or with only one parent, border police may request a document showing the consent of both parents upon entry or exit. We therefore advise guests under 18 and their parents to pay particular attention to this requirement.
Cancellation policy
  • For cancellations made at least 30 days before departure, the full tour price will be refunded.
  • For cancellations made 29-16 days before departure, 50% of the tour price excluding airfare will be refunded. Airfare is non-refundable.
  • For cancellations made 15-0 days before departure, the full tour price is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
  • If a guest fails to join the tour on the departure date because they miss their flight, coach or other means of transport, the full tour price is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
  • If a guest does not continue the tour at its outset or during the trip, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, the full amount paid is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
