Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day1ISTANBUL – BALI (Airport meeting 1 day before)

We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before departure (1 calendar day before the outbound flight date). After completing baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures, we depart for Bali on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. We spend the night on board. Upon arrival in Bali, Indonesia’s most visited island, famous for its beaches, we transfer to Ubud by private coach waiting at the airport and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.

  2. Day2UBUD

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Ubud & Kintamani Mount Batur Tour with Lunch. On this full-day excursion, we will discover Bali’s fascinating culture, handicrafts and traditional villages, as well as Mount Batur and its lake with their extraordinary scenery. Our first stops are the villages of Celuk & Mas, renowned for their gold, silver and woodcarving crafts. Here, we will watch artisans carve intricate patterns into blocks of wood. After Mas Village, we visit Goa Gajah, known as the Elephant Cave, dating back to the 11th century. Our next stop is the cool mountains of Kintamani for lunch. First, we admire and photograph Mount Batur, with its black lava trails descending from the summit towards Lake Batur beside the valley below. We then enjoy lunch at our restaurant with beautiful views. After lunch, on our return journey, we stop at the Holy Spring, believed to possess magical healing powers. Our excursion continues to Ubud Village, Bali’s artistic heart. Ubud Art Market, Tegenungan Waterfall and coffee plantations are among the places we will see. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Ubud and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

  3. Day3UBUD

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Bedugul & Taman Ayun Temple Tour with Lunch. We begin the day by visiting Taman Ayun, known as the Royal Temple. Taman Ayun means beautiful garden. The site was also placed under UNESCO protection in 2012 and is considered a World Heritage Site. After Taman Ayun, our journey continues towards Bedugul in Bali’s highlands. Bedugul is part of Bali, yet differs from other areas in every respect. Known as the coldest place in Bali, it has a climate entirely different from the rest of the island. After lunch at a local restaurant amid the lush forests surrounding Bedugul, our sights include Lake Bratan and the iconic Ulun Danu Beratan Temple on the lake, a symbol of Bali frequently featured on screen. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Ubud and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

  4. Day4UBUD – BALI

After breakfast at the hotel, we check out of our rooms in Ubud and depart for our Tanah Lot Temples & Monkey Forest & Rice Fields Tour with Lunch. After seeing the Royal Temple in Kapal Town, the monkey forest with its 3 temples and approximately 300 monkeys believed to guard them, and the Tanah Lot Temples built on a rock in the ocean, we visit the picturesque rice fields. We then enjoy Indonesian cuisine for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we head to the world-famous Monkey Forest. At the end of our tour, you will have the opportunity to watch Bali’s magnificent sunset. We then transfer to our hotel in Bali and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

  5. Day5BALI

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Mengiat Beach in the Nusa Dua area. You can swim in the crystal-clear blue waters beside a white sandy beach formed from ocean coral, enjoy a foot massage while relaxing on a sun lounger, and soak up the sea, sand and sunshine while sipping fresh coconut water. After our beach excursion, we head to Jimbaran Beach Seafood Restaurant for dinner. We enjoy our seafood platter as the sun sets over the beach. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Ubud and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

Tour conditions and notes

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Our tour requires a minimum of 15 participants. If there are insufficient participants, notice of cancellation will be given no later than 20 days before departure. You will be notified through your agency if the tour is cancelled due to insufficient participation.
  • If the tour operates despite insufficient participation, guiding services may be provided in English.
  • Where the itinerary specifies only a hotel category without naming the hotel(s) and/or lists alternative hotels for the same destination, your agency will inform you of the hotel(s) 48 hours before departure.
  • During trade fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments and similar periods, hotels may be located farther away than the stated distances in km or in a different city. In such cases, your agency will inform you 48 hours before departure.
  • Rooms for 3 guests are subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the 3rd guest is smaller than a standard bed. Rooms for 3 guests consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are folding beds or sofa beds. Participants making reservations for a 3rd guest and/or a child are therefore deemed to accept the bed type and any limited space in the room. Child discounts apply to only one child within the applicable age range sharing a room with 2 adults. Beds are not guaranteed for children aged 0-2.
  • Hotel breakfasts included in the tour programme reflect the breakfast traditions of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, comprising butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee. Groups may be served in a separate room allocated to them.
  • The panoramic city tours included in the tour package provide a general introduction to each city, with commentary from the guide aboard the vehicle. These tours last a maximum of 2-3 hours and do not include admission to museums or archaeological sites. Fly Express is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours listed in the itinerary cannot take place because local authorities prohibit visits or entry on the scheduled day and time, roads are closed due to events, or weather conditions make the tours impossible. Where roads are closed or vehicle access is prohibited, some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot, where possible.
  • As tour flights are booked with group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the latest flight details with your agency. Your agency will provide the updated times with the tour information.
  • Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing domestic flights. If a guest purchases a domestic connecting flight independently from a provider other than the agency, they cannot claim any refund from the agency if the tour is cancelled by the agency or the flight times change. By purchasing the tour, the guest accepts in advance any financial or non-financial losses that may arise from the cancellation or alteration of the tour. Fly Express cannot be held responsible for these circumstances.
  • Under airline rules, if the outbound flight on a round-trip ticket is not used, the airline will cancel the return flight.
  • Guests joining the tour without flights must make their own way to the tour's starting point and arrive on time. Otherwise, they will be responsible for arranging all their own transfers.
  • Fly Express is not responsible if guests are unable to take their flight because they are not at the specified airport at the times advised in accordance with airline rules, fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete these procedures on time but are unable to board the aircraft. Guests who miss their flight are responsible for all expenses required to join the tour, including new round-trip flight tickets and transfers at the destination.
  • Tour participants are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports / identity documents. Fly Express is not responsible for items that are left behind, lost or stolen. If forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to return them to the country and/or their owner, and any costs incurred in returning them are payable by the owner.
  • In cases of illness, loss, theft or similar incidents, the guide cannot accompany guests individually, as the guide's priority is to keep the group together and ensure the tour continues.
  • When purchasing the tour, you must provide your name as it appears in your passport, your date of birth and your passport number accurately. Flight tickets are issued using this information. Any ticket cancellation or change penalties resulting from incorrect information will be charged to you.
  • Some airlines may charge for food, drinks and online check-in services.
  • Specific coach seat numbers cannot be guaranteed during the tour.
  • The times announced by our guide during tours are departure times, when the vehicle starts moving. Our guide is responsible for treating all guests equally and will depart at the meeting time without waiting. Guests who arrive late must make their own way to the next stop.
  • Optional tours are organised by the local agency providing our services and require a minimum of 20 participants. If there are insufficient participants, the tours may not operate, or their prices, content and vehicles may vary according to the number of participants. The guide may also change the days and times of tours according to the opening schedules of museums and archaeological sites and the weather conditions. A different guide may accompany guests on optional tours.
  • In our classic packages that do not include optional tours, participation in these tours is voluntary. Guests who do not wish to join optional tours arranged during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest stop along the route. These guests will be dropped off at the rest stop before the optional tour begins and picked up from the same location after it ends.
  • For programmes that include the additional tours, museum & archaeological site admission fees must be paid to your agency at the time of booking or to the guide during the tour.
  • The participant agrees in advance to join the tours specified in the itinerary without disrupting the programme and to pay the tour representative separately during the trip the amount stated in advance in the itinerary to cover expenses such as local guides, museum & archaeological site admissions, city taxes and audio headsets, where applicable. The participant has been fully informed of these arrangements.
  • Where only a hotel category is specified and/or alternative accommodation options are listed for the same destination, details of your hotel(s) will be available 48 hours before departure.
  • Fly Express acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Scheduled and charter flights may be delayed, and flight times may change before the tour and flight. Fly Express is obliged to communicate these changes as soon as possible. By purchasing the tour, passengers acknowledge and accept that flight details may change.

VISA

  • Turkish citizens do not require a visa. A passport valid for at least 6 months from the end of the trip is sufficient.
  • Guests travelling on Turkish green passports issued more than 10 years ago must renew their passports. Otherwise, they may be denied entry to their destination country and/or boarding by the airline. In such cases, responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • Immigration officers have the authority to deny you entry to the country. Fly Express is not responsible for this; responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • To avoid problems with border officials upon arrival in the destination country, passports that are torn, worn, water-damaged and/or have sustained similar damage must be renewed. If the destination country requires a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • When guests under 18 travel alone or with only one parent, border police may request a document showing the consent of both parents upon entry or exit. We therefore advise guests under 18 and their parents to pay particular attention to this requirement.
Cancellation policy
  • For cancellations made at least 30 days before departure, the full tour price will be refunded.
  • For cancellations made 29-16 days before departure, 50% of the tour price excluding airfare will be refunded. Airfare is non-refundable.
  • For cancellations made 15-0 days before departure, the full tour price is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
  • If a guest fails to join the tour on the departure date because they miss their flight, coach or other means of transport, the full tour price is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
  • If a guest does not continue the tour at its outset or during the trip, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, the full amount paid is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
