AvailableWe meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before departure. After completing baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures, we fly to Barcelona on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight and board our private coach waiting at the airport. In the evening, guests who wish may attend the optional Flamenco show (60 Euro), arranged by our guide. We will have the opportunity to enjoy this captivating Spanish dance performance. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Barcelona and free time. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time. Guests who wish join us for the optional Girona & Figueres & Dali Museum and La Roca Village tour (100 Euro), arranged by our guide. After an enjoyable visit to this theatrical museum, designed and created in 1974 by the renowned surrealist painter Salvador Dali and his team, we depart for our Girona city tour. Following a walking tour of Girona, known for its historic character, narrow streets and medieval atmosphere, we stop for shopping at La Roca Village outlet village, one of Barcelona’s most popular shopping destinations. After this enjoyable break, where you can find world-famous brands at attractive prices, transfer to our hotel and free time.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Barcelona city tour. Sights include the Christopher Columbus Monument, La Sagrada Familia Church, La Rambla, Montjuic Hill, Plaça d’Espanya and Plaça de Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia, Gran Via, the Andalusian Arena and the Olympic Port. After the tour, guests who wish may join the optional Sitges tour (50 Euro). Sitges is located 35 km southwest of Barcelona. With the spirit of a typical Mediterranean town and an ideal setting between the mountains and the sea, it has become an increasingly popular destination in recent years. We begin our visit at the enchanting steps of San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral before immersing ourselves in the historic streets. This 17th-century cathedral stands on the remains of earlier Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, we continue through the historic streets of Sitges. In the medieval town centre, Maricel Palace and its museum, fine examples of Modernism, are a paradise for collection enthusiasts. Directly opposite, we stop at the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the Modernist movement in Catalonia. By exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he played a major role in making the town famous. After seeing the colourful houses and charming bars along the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, dedicated to horror and fantasy films and attracting thousands of people every year, is celebrated, we head towards the beach to spend the rest of our time enjoying the day like the locals. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time.
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, guests who wish may join the optional Park Güell & Gothic Quarter tour (80 Euro). Protected by UNESCO and known as the Fairytale Park, this park is a creation of Antoni Gaudi. Its colourful main stairways and imaginative pavilions create a fairytale atmosphere. After our visit, we head towards the Gothic Quarter. After exploring its medieval buildings, romantic squares, Roman walls, churches, maze-like streets, cafés and souvenir shops, we take an enjoyable journey behind the scenes of Barcelona through neighbourhoods that have inspired acclaimed directors such as Inarritu and Woody Allen. Sights include the Paral-el neighbourhood, El Raval, the streets of El Born and Plaza Real. We then transfer to the airport at the time advised by our guide. After completing baggage, ticketing and customs procedures, we fly to Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Our tour and services end upon arrival at Istanbul Airport.
