Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day1ISTANBUL – ROME (ROME’S MASTERPIECES & VATICAN & ALBANO & NEMI STRAWBERRY VILLAGE & OUTLET)

We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport three hours before the flight. Following baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures, we fly to Rome on a scheduled AJet flight. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Rome in our private coach waiting at the airport. Guests who wish may join the optional Masterpieces of Rome & Vatican (St. Peter’s) and Lake Albano & Nemi Strawberry Village & Outlet tour (95 Euro). Sights on our tour include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Venice Square, where Mussolini addressed the public, and the Victor Emmanuel II Monument; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiatorial battles; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; and the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps and featuring the Fountain of the Old Boat. Next, Castel Gondolfo, known as Nemi Village, welcomes you with colourful houses with flowers in their windows, stone streets and charming shops displaying and selling its famous natural strawberries. The magnificent lake views will make you feel as though you are in a fairy tale. During our visit to Castel Gondolfo on the shores of Lake Albano, we continue our walk through the area, where we will see the Pope’s summer palace. We take a brief journey through history in this unique town, which also served as a summer residence for many Roman emperors. We then depart for an outlet visit to enjoy some shopping. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Rome. Overnight at our hotel.

  2. Day2ROME – (NAPLES & POMPEII)

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Naples & Pompeii Tour (95 Euro). Sights on our Naples city tour include Piazza del Plebiscito, the city’s central square; the Royal Palace, built in the 17th century; Castel Nuovo (New Castle); the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, inspired by St. Peter’s Square and the Pantheon in Rome; the Galleria Umberto I shopping arcade; the San Carlo Theatre, built in 1737 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and the Port of Naples. We then visit Pompeii, one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites. Pompeii lies at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, which erupted in AD 79 and destroyed the city. Following lengthy excavations by archaeologists in 1748, the city was revealed in all its vivid detail. Sights include the Basilica, Forum, House of the Faun, restaurants, baths and bakeries. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Rome. Overnight at our hotel.

  3. Day3ROME – FLORENCE (PISA & SAN GIMIGNANO)

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Florence. Sights include the River Arno, which divides Florence in two; Ponte Vecchio, famous for its jewellers; Palazzo Vecchio, from which the Medici family ruled Florence; Piazza della Signoria, home to the Renaissance masterpieces Hercules and David; the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with Italy’s 3rd-highest dome; and the Baptistery, renowned for its doors. Guests who wish may join the optional Pisa & San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro). After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Piazza dei Miracoli, unforgettable views and magnificent buildings await on our San Gimignano tour. Upon arrival, we board a local train and begin exploring the UNESCO-listed Cinque Terre villages, strung like pearls along the Ligurian coast. Unforgettable moments await in this postcard-perfect landscape, with pastel-coloured houses beside the sea, spectacular settings on steep cliffs and narrow streets. During our tour, we visit Manarola, with its vineyard-lined terraces and authentic character, and Vernazza, with its romantic setting on rocks extending towards the sea. Photo stops and free time offer the opportunity to experience the spirit of the region. Guests may take short walks by the sea or enjoy flavours unique to the Italian Riviera in small cafés. • Where the itinerary specifies only a hotel category without naming the hotel(s) and/or lists alternative hotels for the same destination, your agency will inform you of the hotel(s) 48 hours before departure.
  • During trade fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments and similar periods, hotels may be located farther away than the stated distances in km or in a different city. In such cases, your agency will inform you 48 hours before departure.
  • The panoramic city tours included in the package provide a general introduction to the cities and are conducted entirely from the vehicle with commentary from the guide. They last no more than 2-3 hours and do not include admission to museums or archaeological sites. Fly Express is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours specified in the itinerary cannot take place because local authorities prohibit visits or entry at the scheduled date and time, because of events or road closures, or because weather conditions make the tour impossible. Where roads are closed or vehicle access is prohibited, some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where possible.
  • Rooms for 3 guests are subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the 3rd guest is smaller than a standard bed. Rooms for 3 guests consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are folding beds or sofa beds. When booking for a 3rd guest and/or a child, tour participants are deemed to accept the bed type and any resulting lack of space in the room. Child discounts apply to a single child within the eligible age group sharing a room with 2 adults. Beds are not guaranteed for children aged 0-2.
  • Hotel breakfasts included in the tour programme reflect the breakfast traditions of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, comprising butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee. Groups may be served in a separate room allocated to them.
  • As tour flights are booked with group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the latest flight details with your agency. Your agency will provide the updated times with the tour information.
  • Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing domestic flights. If a guest purchases a domestic connecting flight independently from a provider other than the agency, they cannot claim any refund from the agency if the tour is cancelled by the agency or the flight times change. By purchasing the tour, the guest accepts in advance any financial or non-financial losses that may arise from the cancellation or alteration of the tour. Fly Express cannot be held responsible for these circumstances.
  • Under airline rules, if the outbound flight on a round-trip ticket is not used, the airline will cancel the return flight.
  • Guests joining the tour without flights must make their own way to the tour's starting point and arrive on time. Otherwise, they will be responsible for arranging all their own transfers.
  • Fly Express is not responsible if guests are unable to take their flight because they are not at the specified airport at the times advised in accordance with airline rules, fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete these procedures on time but are unable to board the aircraft. Guests who miss their flight are responsible for all expenses required to join the tour, including new round-trip flight tickets and transfers at the destination.
  • Tour participants are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports / identity documents. Fly Express is not responsible for items that are left behind, lost or stolen. If forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to return them to the country and/or their owner, and any costs incurred in returning them are payable by the owner.
  • In cases of illness, loss, theft or similar incidents, the guide cannot accompany guests individually, as the guide's priority is to keep the group together and ensure the tour continues.
  • When purchasing the tour, you must provide your name as it appears in your passport, your date of birth and your passport number accurately. Flight tickets are issued using this information. Any ticket cancellation or change penalties resulting from incorrect information will be charged to you.
  • Some airlines may charge for food, drinks and online check-in services.
  • Specific coach seat numbers cannot be guaranteed during the tour.
  • The times announced by our guide during tours are departure times, when the vehicle starts moving. Our guide is responsible for treating all guests equally and will depart at the meeting time without waiting. Guests who arrive late must make their own way to the next stop.
  • Optional tours are organised by the local agency providing our services and require a minimum of 20 participants. If there are insufficient participants, the tours may not operate, or their prices, content and vehicles may vary according to the number of participants. The guide may also change the days and times of tours according to the opening schedules of museums and archaeological sites and the weather conditions. A different guide may accompany guests on optional tours.
  • Optional excursions are voluntary. Guests who choose not to participate are deemed to accept waiting at a suitable location along the route, such as a rest stop. They will be dropped off before the excursion begins and picked up at the same location after it ends. They cannot use the tour coach for transfers and are responsible for any personal expenses incurred while waiting.
  • The participant agrees in advance to join the tours specified in the itinerary without disrupting the programme and to pay the tour representative separately during the trip the amount stated in advance in the itinerary to cover expenses such as local guides, museum & archaeological site admissions, city taxes and audio headsets, where applicable. The participant has been fully informed of these arrangements.
  • For programmes that include the additional tours, museum & archaeological site admission fees must be paid to your agency at the time of booking or to the guide during the tour.
  • Fly Express acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Scheduled and charter flights may be delayed, and flight times may change before the tour and flight. Fly Express is obliged to communicate these changes as soon as possible. By purchasing the tour, passengers acknowledge and accept that flight details may change.

VISA

  • Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye require a visa. Visa applications must be submitted with a passport valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip and the documents specified in the “Documents Required for a Visa” list.
  • Green passport holders do not require a visa; a passport valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip is sufficient.
  • The visa information provided in the programme applies to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye. Guests holding passports issued by other countries should obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
  • Having a visa does not guarantee entry to the country. Passport control officers have the authority to refuse entry. Fly Express is not responsible in such cases; responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • To avoid problems with border officials in the destination country, passports that are torn, worn, water-damaged and/or otherwise damaged must be renewed. If the destination country requires a visa for citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • When guests under 18 travel alone or with only one parent, border police may request a document showing the consent of both parents upon entry or exit. We therefore advise guests under 18 and their parents to pay particular attention to this requirement.
Cancellation policy
  • For cancellations made at least 30 days before departure, the full tour price will be refunded.
  • For cancellations made 29-16 days before departure, 50% of the tour price excluding airfare will be refunded. Airfare is non-refundable.
  • For cancellations made 15-0 days before departure, the full tour price is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
  • If a guest fails to join the tour on the departure date because they miss their flight, coach or other means of transport, the full tour price is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
  • If a guest does not continue the tour at its outset or during the trip, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, the full amount paid is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
