AvailableWe meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul New Airport three hours before departure (the day before the flight date). We complete baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures.
We depart for Seoul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in Seoul, we board our private coach waiting at the airport. We then transfer to our hotel in Seoul and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to Gangnam Square. Meaning “south of the Han River”, Gangnam is Seoul’s third-largest district. The area gained popularity following PSY’s song Gangnam Style. Sights on our panoramic tour include Cheongdam Fashion Street, Gangnam Station, Bongeunsa Temple and Starfield Library. After a break for shopping, dining and photographs, we transfer to our hotel in Seoul and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our full-day city tour of Seoul. Sights on our panoramic tour include Gyeongbokgung Palace, the National Folk Museum of Korea, Insadong Antique Street, Bukchon Hanok Village and Myeongdong Street. Our first stop, Gyeongbokgung Palace, was built in 1395 and is often called the Northern Palace because it lies furthest north compared with the neighbouring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace). Next is the National Folk Museum of Korea, which offers visitors insights into the daily lives, art and cultural development of the South Korean people across different periods. We then tour Bukchon Hanok Village, whose name means “Northern Village”. Hanok are traditional Korean houses, and there are approximately 700 in this village. We then transfer to Myeongdong, Korea’s most famous shopping and fashion district. With its shops, cosmetics stores and many restaurants, this street offers an opportunity to shop and sample local flavours before leaving the country. We transfer to Seoul Airport for our flight to Osaka. After passport and baggage procedures, we depart for Osaka with a local airline. Upon arrival, we board our private vehicle waiting at the airport and transfer to our hotel in Osaka. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we take a city tour of Osaka, Japan's second-largest metropolitan area after Tokyo. Sights include Osaka Castle, built in the 16th century and instrumental in the unification of Japan; the Umeda Sky Building, consisting of two 173-metre-high towers; Dotonbori; and Shinsaibashi. With a history spanning nearly 450 years, the five-storey Osaka Castle is one of the country's most visually magnificent creations and a fine example of traditional Japanese architecture, from its subtle balance of colours to the elegant patterns and shapes adorning each floor. We then tour Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi. Historically a theatre district, the area is now a popular destination for nightlife, shopping and entertainment, characterised by its eccentric atmosphere and large illuminated signs. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Osaka. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Hiroshima by high-speed train. Our Hiroshima tour begins with a panoramic view of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial. Located in Hiroshima, Japan, and also known as the Atomic Bomb Dome, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial is part of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, it is one of the principal places commemorating those who lost their lives in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. We then see Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The park is dedicated to Hiroshima, the world's first city to suffer a nuclear attack, where the death toll had reached 140.000 by the end of 1945. Before the bombing, the area now occupied by the Peace Park was the city's political and commercial heart, which is why it was chosen as the pilot's target. Four years after the bombing, it was decided that the area would not be redeveloped but instead dedicated to peace memorial facilities. After seeing the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, transfer to Hiroshima railway station. We return to Osaka by high-speed train and transfer to our hotel in Osaka. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Nara. Upon arrival, we set off on our panoramic Nara tour. We begin with Todaiji Temple. Built in 752, the temple was intended to serve as the head of all Buddhist temples. As its influence grew, it also began to affect politics in the 8th century. Todaiji’s main hall has entered the record books as the world’s largest wooden structure. The enormous building houses one of Japan’s largest bronze Buddha statues (Daibutsu). We then visit Nara Park, a large park in central Nara. Established in 1880, it is home to many of Nara’s main attractions, including Todaiji, Kasuga Taisha, Kofukuji and the Nara National Museum. It is also home to hundreds of freely roaming deer. After an opportunity to take photos with the deer wandering around, we transfer to our hotel in Kyoto and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our full-day panoramic Kyoto city tour. Kyoto was the only place in Japan that was not bombed during World War II. The city of Kyoto is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. We begin our city tour with the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, which welcomes visitors with a 500-metre walking trail. As we walk along the trail, we enjoy the sound of the wind passing through the bamboo and have the opportunity to photograph the forest. We then continue with our temple tour. Kinkakuji Temple, a Zen temple in northern Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf, is also known as the Golden Pavilion. Each floor of this impressive building overlooking a large pond represents a different architectural style. We then visit Kiyomizudera (Pure Water) Temple, founded in 780 on the site of Otowa Waterfall in the wooded hills east of Kyoto and named after its pure waters. We then transfer to Gion, Kyoto’s most famous geisha district, located around Shijo Avenue between Yasaka Shrine to the east and the Kamo River to the west. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel in Kyoto and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to Kyoto railway station for our journey towards Tokyo. Upon arrival in Hakone, we depart for our Hakone & Mount Fuji tour. At 3776 metres, Mount Fuji is Japan’s highest mountain, renowned for its elegant conical shape, and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2013. It is a sacred symbol of the country, with temples and shrines on and around the volcano. Weather permitting, we reach Mount Fuji’s fifth station, where magnificent views above the clouds create a wonderful atmosphere. We then continue with our Hakone tour. One of Hakone’s most distinctive features is its exceptional scenery, thanks to its proximity to Mount Fuji. Here, we take a boat tour on Lake Ashi to enjoy these magnificent views. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Tokyo and free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.
Note: When leaving the hotel on the morning of the tour, you must take a small bag with everything you need for one day. All other belongings left at the hotel will be transferred from Kyoto to the hotel in Tokyo.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our full-day Tokyo city tour. Our panoramic tour includes Tokyo Imperial Palace, built as the residence of the Imperial Family in central Tokyo, surrounded by trees, flowers, moats and Japan's natural scenery. The Imperial Palace has served as the residence of successive emperors since 1868. We stop for photos at Tokyo Tower. We then visit Asakusa Temple, also known as Sensoji, a Buddhist temple in Asakusa and one of Tokyo's oldest and most colourful temples. According to legend, it was built by 2 fisherman brothers to pay their respects to Kannon, the goddess of mercy. Completed in 645, the temple is approached through the Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), which leads to Nakamise, a shopping street stretching over 200 metres. The other end of the street leads to Hozomon, the temple's second gate. During our break on the shopping street, you can purchase traditional Japanese souvenirs such as kimonos and folding fans, or sample a variety of traditional local snacks from the Asakusa area. We then head to Ginza, Tokyo's most famous luxury shopping, dining and entertainment district, home to numerous shops, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs and cafés. From 1612 to 1800, a silver coin mint stood in what is now Ginza, giving the district its name, which means "silver mint" in Japanese. Our tour continues with a visit to Shibuya Crossing, known as one of the busiest pedestrian crossings, in Shibuya, one of the 23 special wards of Japan's capital, Tokyo. Situated among business and shopping centres in one of the city's busiest areas, it is known as the world's busiest pedestrian crossing. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Tokyo, with free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and transfer to Tokyo Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Following baggage, passport and ticketing procedures, we depart on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Overnight on board. Our tour and services end upon arrival at Istanbul New Airport.
