AvailableWe meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul New Airport three hours before the flight (1 day before departure).
After completing baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures, we depart for Cape Town on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. We spend the night on board. Upon arrival in Cape Town, we board our private vehicle waiting at the airport and set off on our city tour of Cape Town, the “Mother City”, while enjoying our traditional welcome drink. Our first stop is Table Mountain, where, weather permitting, we take a cable car up to a height of 1087 metres for 360-degree views and the opportunity to photograph the magnificent city and ocean scenery. Located at the southern tip of Africa, Cape Town is a historic city associated with struggles for freedom and a destination of dazzling natural beauty. Sights include the Parliament Building, Company Gardens, Long Street, the Castle of Good Hope, the Reibeck Statue, Adderly Street, the Castle of Good Wishes and the Bo-Kaap district. After walking stops at Sea Point and Camps Bay to enjoy wonderful ocean views, we transfer to our hotel and settle into our rooms. Following time to settle in and rest, we meet in the lobby at the time specified by our guide and depart for our Welcome to South Africa Dinner at a local restaurant. We sample the wonderful flavours of South African cuisine and enjoy a pleasant evening overlooking the ocean. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Cape of Good Hope & Hout Bay Tour with Lunch. We travel through Bantry Bay, Camps Bay and Clifton to reach the fishing town of Hout Bay. Weather permitting, we take a boat trip to see African fur seals in their natural habitat on Seal Island, with plenty of opportunities for photographs. We then travel by coach along Chapmans Peak Drive, built into granite cliffs, to visit the Cape of Good Hope, discovered by Bartholomeu Dias, and take the funicular to see the world's tallest lighthouse. During our visit to the Cape of Good Hope, part of the Cape Floral region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the richest floral areas in the world, we see African antelope, Cape zebras, various reptiles, troops of baboons and charming African penguins, as well as 250 bird species. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Cape Town for free time. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Stellenbosch & Franschhoek Tour with Lunch. In Stellenbosch, South Africa's second-oldest town, we visit a wine estate producing some of the country's finest wines. At the heart of South Africa's wine industry, the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin region includes 106 cellars. The town's heart lies in the middle of oak-lined Dorp Street. We then see Stellenbosch University, where modern student life blends with historical and architectural heritage amid distinguished old buildings. We have free time to shop in the town's boutiques and historic shops. Afterwards, we visit Girrafe House to learn about wildlife and see giraffes. Our next stop is Franschhoek, a town founded by the French in the 17th century and regarded as South Africa's Food and Wine Capital. This charming town features some of the finest examples of Cape architecture and has become a popular tourist destination. Settled by French Huguenots more than three hundred years ago, the Franschhoek Valley produces some of the world's truly outstanding wines from magnificent vineyards covering its mountainsides. Here, we enjoy a wine tasting at a local wine estate. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Cape Town for free time. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Icons of South Africa Tour with Lunch. Our first stop is Ostrich Ranch Cape Town, where our visit to the ostriches offers an opportunity to discover every aspect of ostrich breeding and farming, including leather production. We then visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden. Covering 528 hectares, including 36 hectares of cultivated gardens, this extensive garden celebrates South African flora. Featuring only indigenous South African plants, it brings together fynbos, proteas, cycads, rolling lawns, streams and ponds, with well-laid-out paths for easy walking. After enjoying the magnificent scenery amid the garden's various bird species, we head to the Treetop Canopy Walkway, which offers visitors the chance to experience the forest above ground level. This galvanised steel structure awaits you for an adventure among the trees and branches, high above the forest floor. Afterwards, we transfer to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Enjoy free time for shopping at South Africa's most popular shopping destination, with more than 450 retail outlets selling everything from fashion, homeware and antiques to jewellery and technology. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Cape Town for free time. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and transfer to Cape Town Airport by private coach. We fly to Lanseria with a local airline. Upon arrival, we board our waiting vehicle and depart for our Lion Park tour. Offering the chance to see wild animals and lion cubs up close, from lions and wild dogs to cheetahs and giraffes, this magnificent park will be one of the most enjoyable stops on our South African adventure. Afterwards, we transfer to Sun City. Following a journey of approximately 2 hours, we transfer to our hotel in Sun City and enjoy free time. Overnight at our hotel.
We leave the hotel at sunrise for our safari tour. Travelling in safari vehicles, we enjoy unforgettable hours surrounded by nature. In Pilanesberg National Park, we observe the daily lives of various wild animals in a natural volcanic landscape among the mountains. During our tour, we have the opportunity to see the Big Five, considered the most dangerous game animals: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros, as well as 350 bird species, 65 reptiles and hundreds of different kinds of animals. After the safari, we return to our hotel in Sun City for breakfast. The rest of the day is free time to enjoy various activities. Known as South Africa's Las Vegas, this city attracts thousands of tourists with its casinos, golf facilities, luxury hotels hosting spectacular sporting and entertainment events each year, and the magical The Lost City. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and transfer to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, we set off on our Johannesburg city tour. Our panoramic tour includes the City Centre, Houghton, Mandela House, Rosebank and Sandton. Afterwards, we depart for our Lesedi African Village Tour with Lunch. Lesedi consists of several different farms and traditional villages. Upon arrival, we receive a lively traditional welcome with a refreshing welcome drink. We then explore Ndebele Village and the craft market, where murals decorate the walls and courtyard. Afterwards, we have the chance to watch a visually rich theatrical presentation about South Africa's history and
origins. After lunch here, we return to your hotel in Johannesburg for free time. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and depart for our Pretoria tour. First, we visit the world's largest Nelson Mandela statue, standing 9 metres tall. We then arrive in Pretoria. One of South Africa's three capitals, Pretoria is the country's administrative capital. Famous for its three major universities and jacaranda trees, Pretoria offers sights including the Paul Kruger Statue, Church Square, the President's Office, the Union Buildings, Kruger House and Melrose House. Afterwards, we set off with our guide for our walking and shopping tour of Nelson Mandela Square. We then transfer to the airport.
