AvailableWe meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before departure (one day before the flight date). We complete baggage, ticketing and boarding formalities.
We depart for Seoul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in Seoul, we board our private vehicle waiting at the airport and transfer to our hotel, with free time to rest. Overnight stay at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we take a panoramic city tour of Seoul. Sights include Gyeongbokgung Palace and the National Folk Museum of Korea, which offers visitors an insight into the lives, art and cultural development of the South Korean people across different periods. We also visit Insadong Antique Street and Myeongdong Street. Continuing our tour, we transfer to Myeongdong, home to shops, cosmetics stores and numerous restaurants. You can shop at your leisure and sample local flavours in Korea's most famous shopping and fashion district. After the tour, we transfer to Seoul Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Following passport and baggage formalities, we depart for Osaka with a local airline. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel in Osaka and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we take a panoramic city tour of Osaka, Japan's second-largest metropolitan area after Tokyo. Sights include Osaka Castle, built in the 16th century and instrumental in the unification of the Japanese nation, the Umeda Sky Building, comprising two 173-metre towers, Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. We then depart for our visit to the Umeda Sky Building, a magnificent high-rise near Osaka and Umeda stations. The 173-metre building consists of two towers connected by the “Floating Garden Observatory” on the 39th floor. The observatory offers wonderful city views through its windows and from its open-air deck. We then depart for our Hiroshima tour, arriving in Hiroshima by high-speed train. On our city tour, we see the Hiroshima Peace Memorial panoramically. Located in Hiroshima, Japan, and also known as the Atomic Bomb Dome, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial is part of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, it is one of the principal places commemorating those who lost their lives in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. We then see Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The park is dedicated to Hiroshima, the world's first city to suffer a nuclear attack, with the death toll reaching 140.000 by the end of 1945. Before the bombing, the area now occupied by the Peace Park was the city's political and commercial heart, which is why it was selected as the pilot's target. Four years after the bombing, it was decided that the area would not be redeveloped but would instead be dedicated to peace memorial facilities. After also seeing the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, we transfer to Hiroshima railway station. Following our journey by high-speed train, transfer to our hotel in Osaka and free time to rest. Overnight stay at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Osaka Castle tour. With a history dating back almost 450 years, the five-storey castle is one of the country's most visually magnificent creations and a fine testament to traditional Japanese architecture, from its subtle balance of colours to the elegant patterns and shapes adorning each floor. After the tour, transfer to Kyoto and free time for the whole day. We then depart for our Nara tour, beginning with Todaiji Temple. Built in 752, the temple was intended to serve as the head of all Buddhist temples. As its influence grew, it also began to affect politics in the 8th century. Todaiji's main hall has entered the record books as the world's largest wooden structure. This immense building houses one of Japan's largest bronze Buddha statues (Daibutsu). We then visit Nara Park, a large park in central Nara. It is home to many of Nara's main attractions, including Todaiji, Kofukuji and the Nara National Museum, as well as hundreds of freely roaming deer. After an opportunity to take photographs with the deer, we visit Kofukuji Temple. Finally, we visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, one of Kyoto's best-known landmarks. Dedicated to the Shinto faith, this shrine is particularly famous for its thousands of red “torii” gates. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Kyoto and free time to rest. Overnight stay at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our full-day Kyoto tour. We begin with the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, where visitors are welcomed by a 500-metre walking trail. As we walk along the trail, you can enjoy the sound of the wind passing through the bamboo and take photographs of the forest. We then continue with our Kinkakuji Temple tour. A Zen temple in northern Kyoto whose top two floors are entirely covered in gold leaf, Kinkakuji is also known as the Golden Pavilion. Overlooking a large pond, this impressive building features a different architectural style on each floor. After free time, we visit Kiyomizudera (Pure Water) Temple, founded in 780 at the site of Otowa Waterfall in the wooded hills east of Kyoto and named after the waterfall's pure waters. We then transfer to Gion, Kyoto's most famous geisha district, located around Shijo Avenue between Yasaka Shrine to the east and the Kamo River to the west. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Kyoto and free time to rest. Overnight stay at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to Tokyo by high-speed train, then depart for Fuji. At 3776 metres, Mount Fuji is Japan's highest mountain, renowned for its graceful conical shape, and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2013. It is a sacred symbol of the country, with temples and shrines on and around the volcano. Weather permitting, we reach Mount Fuji's fifth station, where magnificent views above the clouds create a wonderful atmosphere. We then depart for our Hakone tour. One of Hakone's most distinctive features is its exceptional scenery, thanks to its location near Mount Fuji. Here, we take a boat tour on Lake Ashi to enjoy these magnificent views together. We then take the cable car up to Owakudani Hill, where we have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the Hakone valley. Afterwards, we depart for the outlet. Gotemba Premium Outlet is a large outlet shopping centre at the foot of Mount Fuji in Gotemba, in Japan's Shizuoka Prefecture. Opened in 2000, it is one of Japan's largest outlets, featuring 290 stores. During our outlet visit, you can shop at your leisure and enjoy free time. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel in Tokyo, with free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Tokyo, with free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.
Note: When leaving the hotel on the morning of the tour, you must take a small bag with everything you need for one day. All other belongings left at the hotel will be transferred from Kyoto to the hotel in Tokyo.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our full-day Tokyo city tour. Our panoramic tour includes Tokyo Imperial Palace, built as the residence of the Imperial Family in central Tokyo, surrounded by trees, flowers, moats and Japan's natural scenery. The Imperial Palace has served as the residence of successive emperors since 1868. We stop for photos at Tokyo Tower. We then visit Asakusa Temple, also known as Sensoji, a Buddhist temple in Asakusa and one of Tokyo's oldest and most colourful temples. According to legend, it was built by 2 fisherman brothers to pay their respects to Kannon, the goddess of mercy. Completed in 645, the temple is approached through the Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), which leads to Nakamise, a shopping street stretching over 200 metres. The other end of the street leads to Hozomon, the temple's second gate. During our break on the shopping street, you can purchase traditional Japanese souvenirs such as kimonos and folding fans, or sample a variety of traditional local snacks from the Asakusa area. We then head to Ginza, Tokyo's most famous luxury shopping, dining and entertainment district, home to numerous shops, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs and cafés. From 1612 to 1800, a silver coin mint stood in what is now Ginza, giving the district its name, which means "silver mint" in Japanese. Our tour continues with a visit to Shibuya Crossing, known as one of the busiest pedestrian crossings, in Shibuya, one of the 23 special wards of Japan's capital, Tokyo. Situated among business and shopping centres in one of the city's busiest areas, it is known as the world's busiest pedestrian crossing. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Tokyo, with free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.
Early in the morning, we check out and transfer to Tokyo Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Following baggage, passport and ticketing formalities, we depart on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight.
