Day-by-day itinerary
Day1ISTANBUL – TBILISI
We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before departure. After completing baggage, ticketing and boarding formalities, we depart for Tbilisi on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel in the coaches waiting for us at the airport. After leaving our luggage at the hotel, we set off on our Tbilisi City Tour. Our private vehicle takes us to Freedom Square, one of the city's central landmarks, where we begin exploring Tbilisi on foot. We first see the Old Town walls surrounding the city's historic quarter. We continue through the Old Town, where narrow streets, traditional architecture and a variety of colours reveal the city's character through the ages. Next, we see the Clock Tower, one of Tbilisi's most unusual landmarks. With its leaning structure, wooden details and fairytale appearance, this tower offers a photo opportunity that captures the city's distinctive atmosphere. We follow the historic streets to Erekle Street. With its colourful façades, cafés and lively atmosphere, this is one of Tbilisi's most enjoyable areas, where we have free time for lunch. Guests may sample traditional Georgian cuisine or enjoy the city's atmosphere at the surrounding cafés. After our break, we continue our walk to visit Sioni Cathedral, one of Tbilisi's important religious buildings. After exploring this cathedral, an important part of the city's cultural heritage thanks to its history and architecture, we head towards the Old Bazaar district, once the heart of local trade. Walking among historic shops and streets, we discover traces of Tbilisi's commercial past. Our route then takes us to the Sulphur Baths district, one of the city's most distinctive areas. Here, we see traditional domed bathhouses in an area famous for its hot springs, which are also associated with the story of Tbilisi's founding. Crossing bridges where lovers hang padlocks, we reach Tbilisi Waterfall, one of the city's natural attractions. This small yet striking waterfall, flowing between the rocks, is one of the most enjoyable stops on our walk. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Day2TBILISI – KAKHETI – BODBE – SIGHNAGHI
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart on the Treasures of Georgia Tour (Kakheti: KTW winery - Sighnaghi - Bodbe). Our first stop is a wine cellar. Set amid the fertile lands of the Caucasus, Kakheti welcomes us as the heart of Georgian wine culture. In this fertile region, where approximately three-quarters of the country's wine grapes are grown, we discover traces of a tradition dating back thousands of years as we travel through the vineyards. Archaeological findings show that winemaking in Kakheti dates back several thousand years, and we learn how each village in the region has developed its own wine tradition. Our second stop is St. Nino Monastery in Bodbe. This Georgian Orthodox monastic complex and seat of the Bishops of Bodbe is one of Georgia's most important pilgrimage sites due to its association with St. Nino, the female evangelist who converted the Georgians to Christianity in the 4th century. After our visit, we continue to Sighnaghi. Built in an ancient Roman style during the Middle Ages, this fortified town is known locally as the “City of Love” for its romantic atmosphere. After walking along its romantic cobbled streets and admiring the enchanting views of the Alazani Valley, we have free time to stroll and photograph the town. Afterwards, we return to our vehicle for the journey back to Tbilisi. Overnight at our hotel.
Day3TBILISI – CHRONICLE OF GEORGIA MONUMENT – MTSKHETA – JVELI
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off on the Symbols of Georgia Tour (Mtskheta – Jvari – Chronicle of Georgia Monument – Sameba Cathedral). Our first stop is Jvari Church, perched on a rocky hill overlooking Mtskheta. Standing like a stoic guardian that has watched over the city for centuries, the church offers views of the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers and the impressive surrounding scenery. We then continue to Mtskheta. Once the capital of Georgia in ancient times, this historic city welcomes us with its renovated European-style centre, stone streets and traditional atmosphere. Here, we have the opportunity to purchase churchkhela, a traditional Georgian sweet, and other local specialities. We continue our tour with a visit to the immense stone Chronicle of Georgia Monument, known by several names. Often referred to as the “Georgian Stonehenge” or the “History of Georgia Monument”, this impressive structure consists of giant pillars arranged on a hill overlooking the city. On the pillars, which reach approximately 30 metres in height, we see reliefs depicting Georgia's history and important events. We enjoy the impressive views across Tbilisi from the hilltop. Our final stop is Sameba Cathedral, one of Tbilisi's most important religious buildings. One of the largest and grandest structures of the Georgian Orthodox Church, the cathedral dominates the city skyline with its elevated position and impressive architecture. Walking through its spacious courtyard, we admire its golden dome, stonework and majestic architecture up close. This memorable visit, bringing together Tbilisi's history and culture, concludes our tour. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

- The panoramic city tours included in the package provide a general introduction to the cities and are conducted entirely from the vehicle with commentary from the guide. They last no more than 2-3 hours and do not include admission to museums or archaeological sites. Fly Express is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours specified in the itinerary cannot take place because local authorities prohibit visits or entry at the scheduled date and time, because of events or road closures, or because weather conditions make the tour impossible. Where roads are closed or vehicle access is prohibited, some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where possible.
- Rooms for 3 guests are subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the 3rd guest is smaller than a standard bed. Rooms for 3 guests consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are folding beds or sofa beds. Participants making reservations for a 3rd guest and/or a child are therefore deemed to accept the bed type and any limited space in the room. Child discounts apply to only one child within the applicable age range sharing a room with 2 adults. Hotels do not guarantee beds for children aged 0-2.
- Hotel breakfasts included in the tour programme reflect the breakfast traditions of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, comprising butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee. Groups may be served in a separate room allocated to them.
- As tour flights are booked with group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the latest flight details with your agency. Your agency will provide the updated times with the tour information.
- Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing domestic flights. If a guest purchases a domestic connecting flight independently from a provider other than the agency, they cannot claim any refund from the agency if the tour is cancelled by the agency or the flight times change. By purchasing the tour, the guest accepts in advance any financial or non-financial losses that may arise from the cancellation or alteration of the tour. Fly Express cannot be held responsible for these circumstances.
- Under airline rules, if the outbound flight on a round-trip ticket is not used, the airline will cancel the return flight.
- Guests joining the tour without flights must make their own way to the tour's starting point and arrive on time. Otherwise, they will be responsible for arranging all their own transfers.
- Fly Express is not responsible if guests are unable to take their flight because they are not at the specified airport at the times advised in accordance with airline rules, fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete these procedures on time but are unable to board the aircraft. Guests who miss their flight are responsible for all expenses required to join the tour, including new round-trip flight tickets and transfers at the destination.
- Tour participants are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports / identity documents. Fly Express is not responsible for items that are left behind, lost or stolen. If forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to return them to the country and/or their owner, and any costs incurred in returning them are payable by the owner.
- In cases of illness, loss, theft or similar incidents, the guide cannot accompany guests individually, as the guide's priority is to keep the group together and ensure the tour continues.
- When purchasing the tour, you must provide your name as it appears in your passport, your date of birth and your passport number accurately. Flight tickets are issued using this information. Any ticket cancellation or change penalties resulting from incorrect information will be charged to you.
- Some airlines may charge for food, drinks and online check-in services.
- Specific coach seat numbers cannot be guaranteed during the tour.
- The times announced by our guide during tours are departure times, when the vehicle starts moving. Our guide is responsible for treating all guests equally and will depart at the meeting time without waiting. Guests who arrive late must make their own way to the next stop.
- The participant agrees in advance to join the tours specified in the itinerary without disrupting the programme and to pay the tour representative separately during the trip the amount stated in advance in the itinerary to cover expenses such as local guides, museum & archaeological site admissions, city taxes and audio headsets, where applicable. The participant has been fully informed of these arrangements.
- Optional tours are organised by the local agency providing our services and require a minimum of 20 participants. If there are insufficient participants, the tours may not operate, or their prices, content and vehicles may vary according to the number of participants. The guide may also change the days and times of tours according to the opening schedules of museums and archaeological sites and the weather conditions. A different guide may accompany guests on optional tours.
- In our classic packages that do not include optional tours, participation in these tours is voluntary. Guests who do not wish to join optional tours arranged during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest stop along the route. These guests will be dropped off at the rest stop before the optional tour begins and picked up from the same location after it ends.
- For itineraries that include optional excursions, payment of museum & archaeological site entrance fees is mandatory.
- Fly Express acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Scheduled and charter flights may be delayed, and flight times may change before the tour and flight. Fly Express is obliged to communicate these changes as soon as possible. By purchasing the tour, passengers acknowledge and accept that flight details may change.
VISA

- The visa information provided in the programme applies to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye. Guests holding passports issued by other countries should obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
- Immigration officers have the authority to deny you entry to the country. Fly Express is not responsible for this; responsibility rests with the passenger.

- When guests under 18 travel alone or with only one parent, border police may request a document showing the consent of both parents upon entry or exit. We therefore advise guests under 18 and their parents to pay particular attention to this requirement.
