Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day1ISTANBUL

We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul New Airport three hours before the flight (1 day before departure).

  2. Day2ISTANBUL – CAPE TOWN

After baggage, ticketing and boarding formalities, we depart for Cape Town on a Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Overnight on board. Upon arrival in Cape Town, we board our private vehicle waiting at the airport and enjoy a traditional welcome drink as we set off on our city tour of Cape Town, the “Mother City”. At our first stop, we take a cable car up Table Mountain, standing 1087 metres high, to enjoy 360-degree views and photograph the magnificent city and ocean scenery. (Subject to weather conditions) Located at the southern tip of Africa, Cape Town is a historic city associated with struggles for freedom and a destination of dazzling natural beauty. Sights include the Parliament Building, Company Gardens, Long Street, the Castle of Good Hope, the Riebeeck Statue, Adderley Street, the Castle of Good Wishes and the Bo-Kaap district. After walking breaks in Sea Point and Camps Bay to enjoy stunning ocean views, we transfer to our hotel and have free time to relax. Guests who wish may join the optional Welcome to Africa Dinner and African Dance Show excursion (65 Euro). After dinner accompanied by traditional dance performances by local artists, we transfer to our hotel in Cape Town. Overnight at our hotel.

  3. Day3CAPE TOWN

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Cape of Good Hope & Hout Bay Tour with Lunch (150 Euro). We travel through Bantry Bay, Camps Bay and Clifton to reach the fishing town of Hout Bay. (Subject to weather conditions) We take a boat trip to see African fur seals in their natural habitat on Seal Island, with plenty of opportunities for photographs. We then travel by coach along Chapman's Peak Drive, built into the granite cliffs, to visit the Cape of Good Hope, discovered by Bartolomeu Dias, and take the funicular to see the world's highest lighthouse. During our visit to the Cape of Good Hope, part of the Cape Floral Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the richest areas for plant life, we see African antelope, Cape zebras, various reptiles and troops of baboons, alongside 250 bird species. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Cape Town and enjoy free time. Overnight at our hotel.

  4. Day4CAPE TOWN

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional Giraffe House (Giraffe Farm) & Stellenbosch & Franschhoek Tour with Lunch (150 Euro). In Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second-oldest town, we visit an estate where some of the country’s finest wines are produced. The heart of South Africa’s wine industry, the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin region contains 106 cellars. The town’s heart lies along oak-lined Dorp Street. We then see Stellenbosch University, where modern student life blends with historic and architectural heritage among distinguished old buildings. We will have free time to shop in the town’s boutiques and historic shops. We then head to Giraffe House to learn about wildlife and see the giraffes. Our next stop is Franschhoek, a town founded by the French in the 17th century and regarded as South Africa’s Food and Wine Capital. This charming town features some of the finest examples of Cape architecture and has become a popular destination for visitors. Settled by French Huguenots more than three hundred years ago, the Franschhoek Valley produces some of the world’s truly outstanding wines, with magnificent vineyards covering its mountain slopes. Here, we enjoy a wine tasting at a local wine estate. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Cape Town and free time. Overnight at our hotel.

On arrival, we board our waiting vehicle, and guests who wish may join our optional Lion Park Tour (90 Euro). This magnificent park, where we can see wildlife ranging from lions and wild dogs to cheetahs and giraffes, as well as lion cubs up close, will be one of the most enjoyable stops on our South African adventure. We then transfer to Sun City. Enjoy a full day of free time to take part in various activities in Sun City. • If the tour operates despite insufficient participation, guiding services may be provided in English.
  • Where the itinerary specifies only a hotel category without naming the hotel(s) and/or lists alternative hotels for the same destination, your agency will inform you of the hotel(s) 48 hours before departure.
  • During trade fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments and similar periods, hotels may be located farther away than the stated distances in km or in a different city. In such cases, your agency will inform you 48 hours before departure.
  • Rooms for 3 guests are not available. Extra beds are folding beds or sofa beds. Participants making dbl+chd reservations are therefore deemed to accept the bed type and any limited space in the room. Child discounts apply to only one child within the applicable age range sharing a room with 2 adults.
  • Hotel breakfasts included in the tour programme reflect the breakfast traditions of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, comprising butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee. Groups may be served in a separate room allocated to them.
  • The panoramic city tours included in the tour package provide a general introduction to each city, with commentary from the guide aboard the vehicle. These tours last a maximum of 2-3 hours and do not include admission to museums or archaeological sites. Fly Express is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours listed in the itinerary cannot take place because local authorities prohibit visits or entry on the scheduled day and time, roads are closed due to events, or weather conditions make the tours impossible. Where roads are closed or vehicle access is prohibited, some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot, where possible.
  • As tour flights are booked with group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the latest flight details with your agency. Your agency will provide the updated times with the tour information.
  • Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing domestic flights. If a guest purchases a domestic connecting flight independently from a provider other than the agency, they cannot claim any refund from the agency if the tour is cancelled by the agency or the flight times change. By purchasing the tour, the guest accepts in advance any financial or non-financial losses that may arise from the cancellation or alteration of the tour. Fly Express cannot be held responsible for these circumstances.
  • Under airline rules, if the outbound flight on a round-trip ticket is not used, the airline will cancel the return flight.
  • Guests joining the tour without flights must make their own way to the tour's starting point and arrive on time. Otherwise, they will be responsible for arranging all their own transfers.
  • Fly Express is not responsible if guests are unable to take their flight because they are not at the specified airport at the times advised in accordance with airline rules, fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete these procedures on time but are unable to board the aircraft. Guests who miss their flight are responsible for all expenses required to join the tour, including new round-trip flight tickets and transfers at the destination.
  • Tour participants are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports / identity documents. Fly Express is not responsible for items that are left behind, lost or stolen. If forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to return them to the country and/or their owner, and any costs incurred in returning them are payable by the owner.
  • In cases of illness, loss, theft or similar incidents, the guide cannot accompany guests individually, as the guide's priority is to keep the group together and ensure the tour continues.
  • When purchasing the tour, you must provide your name as it appears in your passport, your date of birth and your passport number accurately. Flight tickets are issued using this information. Any ticket cancellation or change penalties resulting from incorrect information will be charged to you.
  • Some airlines may charge for food, drinks and online check-in services.
  • Specific coach seat numbers cannot be guaranteed during the tour.
  • The times announced by our guide during tours are departure times, when the vehicle starts moving. Our guide is responsible for treating all guests equally and will depart at the meeting time without waiting. Guests who arrive late must make their own way to the next stop.
  • Optional tours are organised by the local agency providing our services and require a minimum of 20 participants. If there are insufficient participants, the tours may not operate, or their prices, content and vehicles may vary according to the number of participants. The guide may also change the days and times of tours according to the opening schedules of museums and archaeological sites and the weather conditions. A different guide may accompany guests on optional tours.
  • In our classic packages that do not include optional tours, participation in these tours is voluntary. Guests who do not wish to join optional tours arranged during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest stop along the route. These guests will be dropped off at the rest stop before the optional tour begins and picked up from the same location after it ends.
  • For programmes that include the additional tours, museum & archaeological site admission fees must be paid to your agency at the time of booking or to the guide during the tour.
  • The participant agrees in advance to join the tours specified in the itinerary without disrupting the programme and to pay the tour representative separately during the trip the amount stated in advance in the itinerary to cover expenses such as local guides, museum & archaeological site admissions, city taxes and audio headsets, where applicable. The participant has been fully informed of these arrangements.
  • Where only a hotel category is specified and/or alternative accommodation options are listed for the same destination, details of your hotel(s) will be available 48 hours before departure.
  • Fly Express acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. • The visa information provided in the programme applies to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye. Guests holding passports issued by other countries should obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
  • Having a complete set of passport and tour documents does not guarantee entry to the country; immigration officers have the authority to deny you entry. Fly Express is not responsible for this; responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • To avoid problems with border officials upon arrival in the destination country, passports that are torn, worn, water-damaged and/or have sustained similar damage must be renewed.
