Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day1ISTANBUL

We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul New Airport three hours before the flight (1 day before departure).

  2. Day2ISTANBUL – CAPE TOWN

After completing baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures, we depart for Cape Town on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. We spend the night on board. Upon arrival in Cape Town, we board our private vehicle waiting at the airport and set off on our city tour of Cape Town, the “Mother City”, while enjoying our traditional welcome drink. Our first stop is Table Mountain, where, weather permitting, we take a cable car up to a height of 1087 metres for 360-degree views and the opportunity to photograph the magnificent city and ocean scenery. Located at the southern tip of Africa, Cape Town is a historic city associated with struggles for freedom and a destination of dazzling natural beauty. Sights include the Parliament Building, Company Gardens, Long Street, the Castle of Good Hope, the Reibeck Statue, Adderly Street, the Castle of Good Wishes and the Bo-Kaap district. After walking stops at Sea Point and Camps Bay to enjoy wonderful ocean views, we transfer to our hotel and settle into our rooms. Following time to settle in and rest, we meet in the lobby at the time specified by our guide and depart for our Welcome to South Africa Dinner at a local restaurant. We sample the wonderful flavours of South African cuisine and enjoy a pleasant evening overlooking the ocean. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel and enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

  3. Day3CAPE TOWN

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional Cape of Good Hope & Hout Bay Tour with Lunch (150 Euro). We travel through Bantry Bay, Camps Bay and Clifton to reach the fishing town of Hout Bay. Weather permitting, we take a boat trip to see African fur seals in their natural habitat on Seal Island, with plenty of opportunities for photographs. We then travel by coach along Chapmans Peak Drive, built into the granite cliffs, to visit the Cape of Good Hope, discovered by Bartholemeo Diaz, and take the funicular to see the world's highest lighthouse. During our visit to the Cape of Good Hope, part of the Cape Floral Region, one of the richest floral areas on the UNESCO World Heritage List, we will see African antelope, Cape zebras, various reptiles, troops of baboons and charming African penguins, as well as 250 bird species. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Cape Town and enjoy free time. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.

  4. Day4CAPE TOWN

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional Giraffe House & Stellenbosch & Franschhoek Tour with Lunch (150 Euro). In Stellenbosch, South Africa's second-oldest town, we visit an estate producing some of the country's finest wines. The town is the heart of South Africa's wine industry, and the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin region includes 106 cellars. The town centre lies along oak-lined Dorp Street. We then see Stellenbosch University, with its distinguished old buildings, where modern student life intertwines with historical and architectural heritage. We enjoy free time for shopping in the town's boutiques and historic shops. We then visit Giraffe House to learn about wildlife and see the giraffes. Our next stop is Franschhoek, founded by the French in the 17th century and regarded as South Africa's food and wine capital. This charming town features some of the finest examples of Cape architecture and is now one of the most popular destinations for visitors. Settled by French Huguenots more than three hundred years ago, the Franschhoek Valley produces some of the world's truly outstanding wines from magnificent vineyards covering its mountain slopes. Here, we enjoy a wine tasting at a local estate. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Cape Town and enjoy free time. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.

  5. Day5CAPE TOWN

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional Icons of South Africa Tour with Lunch (130 Euro). Our first stop is Ostrich Ranch Cape Town, where our visit to the ostriches offers an opportunity to discover every aspect of ostrich breeding and farming, including leather goods production. We then visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden. Covering 528 hectares, including 36 hectares of cultivated gardens, this extensive garden celebrates South African flora. Featuring only indigenous South African plants, it brings together fynbos, proteas and cycads with rolling lawns, streams, ponds and well-laid-out paths for easy walking. After enjoying the magnificent scenery and the garden's various bird species, we head to the Treetop Canopy Walkway, which offers visitors an elevated experience of the forest. Its galvanised steel structure awaits you for an adventure among the trees and branches, high above the forest floor. We then transfer to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Enjoy free time for shopping at South Africa's most popular shopping destination, with more than 450 retail outlets selling everything from fashion, homeware and antiques to jewellery and technology. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Cape Town and enjoy free time. Overnight accommodation at our hotel.

This magnificent park, where we have the opportunity to see wild animals and lion cubs up close, from lions and wild dogs to cheetahs and giraffes, will be one of the most enjoyable stops on our South African adventure. We then transfer to Pilanesberg National Park. After a journey of approximately 2 hours, we arrive and settle into our lodges. After the safari, we return to our lodges for breakfast. We then check out and transfer to Sun City, a paradise in the desert. Enjoy a full day of free time to take part in various activities in Sun City. Known as South Africa's Las Vegas, the city attracts thousands of visitors with its casinos, golf facilities, luxury hotels hosting spectacular sporting and entertainment events every year, and the magical The Lost City. • During trade fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments and similar periods, hotels may be located farther away than the stated distances in km or in a different city. In such cases, your agency will inform you 48 hours before departure.
  • Rooms for 3 guests are not available. Extra beds are folding beds or sofa beds. Participants making dbl+chd reservations are therefore deemed to accept the bed type and any limited space in the room. Child discounts apply to only one child within the applicable age range sharing a room with 2 adults.
  • Hotel breakfasts included in the tour programme reflect the breakfast traditions of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, comprising butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee. Groups may be served in a separate room allocated to them.
  • The panoramic city tours included in the tour package provide a general introduction to each city, with commentary from the guide aboard the vehicle. These tours last a maximum of 2-3 hours and do not include admission to museums or archaeological sites. Fly Express is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours listed in the itinerary cannot take place because local authorities prohibit visits or entry on the scheduled day and time, roads are closed due to events, or weather conditions make the tours impossible. Where roads are closed or vehicle access is prohibited, some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot, where possible.
  • As tour flights are booked with group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the latest flight details with your agency. Your agency will provide the updated times with the tour information.
  • Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing domestic flights. If a guest purchases a domestic connecting flight independently from a provider other than the agency, they cannot claim any refund from the agency if the tour is cancelled by the agency or the flight times change. By purchasing the tour, the guest accepts in advance any financial or non-financial losses that may arise from the cancellation or alteration of the tour. Fly Express cannot be held responsible for these circumstances.
  • Under airline rules, if the outbound flight on a round-trip ticket is not used, the airline will cancel the return flight.
  • Guests joining the tour without flights must make their own way to the tour's starting point and arrive on time. Otherwise, they will be responsible for arranging all their own transfers.
  • Fly Express is not responsible if guests are unable to take their flight because they are not at the specified airport at the times advised in accordance with airline rules, fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete these procedures on time but are unable to board the aircraft. Guests who miss their flight are responsible for all expenses required to join the tour, including new round-trip flight tickets and transfers at the destination.
  • Tour participants are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports / identity documents. Fly Express is not responsible for items that are left behind, lost or stolen. If forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to return them to the country and/or their owner, and any costs incurred in returning them are payable by the owner.
  • In cases of illness, loss, theft or similar incidents, the guide cannot accompany guests individually, as the guide's priority is to keep the group together and ensure the tour continues.

  • Some airlines may charge for food, drinks and online check-in services.
  • Specific coach seat numbers cannot be guaranteed during the tour.
  • The times announced by our guide during tours are departure times, when the vehicle starts moving. Our guide is responsible for treating all guests equally and will depart at the meeting time without waiting. Guests who arrive late must make their own way to the next stop.
  • Optional tours are organised by the local agency providing our services and require a minimum of 20 participants. If there are insufficient participants, the tours may not operate, or their prices, content and vehicles may vary according to the number of participants. The guide may also change the days and times of tours according to the opening schedules of museums and archaeological sites and the weather conditions. A different guide may accompany guests on optional tours.
  • In our classic packages that do not include optional tours, participation in these tours is voluntary. Guests who do not wish to join optional tours arranged during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest stop along the route. These guests will be dropped off at the rest stop before the optional tour begins and picked up from the same location after it ends.
  • For programmes that include the additional tours, museum & archaeological site admission fees must be paid to your agency at the time of booking or to the guide during the tour.
  • The participant agrees in advance to join the tours specified in the itinerary without disrupting the programme and to pay the tour representative separately during the trip the amount stated in advance in the itinerary to cover expenses such as local guides, museum & archaeological site admissions, city taxes and audio headsets, where applicable. The participant has been fully informed of these arrangements.
  • Where only a hotel category is specified and/or alternative accommodation options are listed for the same destination, details of your hotel(s) will be available 48 hours before departure.
