FLYEXCLASSIC - CLASSIC FAR EAST with Qatar Airlines, 10 Nights

We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul New Airport three hours before the flight. After completing baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures, we begin our flight to Doha on a scheduled Qatar Airways service.

Upon arrival in Doha, we connect to our scheduled Qatar Airways flight to Bangkok. We spend the night on board. Upon arrival in Bangkok, we board our private coach waiting at the airport. We then depart for our panoramic Bangkok city tour. The Seated Buddha statue and stupas (burial monuments), Chinatown, the Flower Market, Democracy Monument and Avenue, Ministries Avenue, Parliament House and the Royal Palace, which has been home to the Kingdom of Siam since 1782 and houses the administrative and residential quarters of the current royal family, are among the sights on our panoramic tour. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional “Yok Yor Marina Sea Food Restaurant Dinner & Patpong Night Market” Tour (30 Euro). We first enjoy a meal prepared for us at our restaurant on the banks of the famous Chao Praya River, known as the “River of Kings”, with views of Bangkok illuminated at night. After our enjoyable dinner, we head to Patpong Night Market, Bangkok’s most famous night market, where you can enjoy Chinese- and Thai-style shopping, with a particular focus on replica products such as Rolex watches and Versace bags. You will enjoy spending time on this famous street of shops and bars. Remember to bargain enthusiastically. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Bangkok for free time to relax. After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional “Floating Market” excursion (55 Euro). Leaving Bangkok, we first stop at a coconut farm in Samut Songhkhram, the birthplace of the world-famous Siamese twins. Here, we learn how Thai people use coconut palms and see souvenirs made from the trees. You may also explore the orchid garden on the premises. We then continue by coach for approximately 10 minutes to the pier where traditional Thai boats depart. A pleasant boat ride of approximately half an hour through exotic Far Eastern scenery brings us to the famous Floating Market, which has graced magazine covers. We see the open-air market operating from single-oared boats on the river and have an opportunity to shop. We explore the Floating Market until it closes at midday. On the way back to Bangkok, you will taste some of Thailand’s most famous tropical fruits, purchased by your guide. After the excursion, we transfer to our hotel in Pattaya for free time to relax. After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional “Crocodile Farm” excursion (20 Euro). Here, we watch a daring crocodile show before exploring gardens landscaped with tropical plants and trees. We can have souvenir photos taken with tigers, hand-feed elephants and see various animals native to the Far East. Guests who wish may then join our optional “Elephant Safari” excursion (35 Euro), enjoying an elephant ride through natural surroundings. In the evening, guests may enjoy an unforgettable night at the famous optional “Alcazar Show” cabaret (35 Euro). This spectacular Thai cabaret in the style of the Lido offers an enjoyable evening of changing sets, dancers in varied costumes and magnificent lighting and sound. After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional “Nong Nooch Tropical Garden” Tour (35 Euro). We guarantee you will take plenty of photographs in this magnificent garden, which has won Thailand’s best landscaped garden award for many years. We first watch a cultural show that introduces us to Thai culture. After enjoying Thai dances, Thai boxing, historical battle re-enactments and other performances, we move on to the second part to watch a wonderful elephant show. You will be amazed by the talents of these charming animals, a symbol of Thailand. We then depart for Pattaya, Thailand’s coastal centre for relaxation and entertainment. Along the way, we visit a jewellery factory to see how precious stones found in Thailand, such as sapphires and rubies, are worked and made into jewellery. We then head to Bangkok Airport. After passport and baggage formalities, we depart for Phuket Island with a local airline. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel in Phuket for free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional full-day “Phi Phi Island with Lunch” excursion (70 Euro). Our speedboats take us swiftly to Phi Phi Don, the first of two idyllic coral islands near Phuket. We visit Maya Bay, with its palm-lined beach and crystal-clear turquoise waters, where parts of “The Beach”, starring Hollywood actor Leonardo Di Caprio, were filmed. Our second stop is Phi Phi Ley, where we visit Viking Cave. Lunch is on Phi Phi Island. After the excursion, we transfer to our hotel in Phuket for free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional full-day James Bond Island tour with lunch (70 Euro). Our excursion boat will take us swiftly to our first stops, Panak and Hong islands, which have featured in numerous documentaries. An adventure awaits as we explore the bays and caves in our private canoes, taking in spectacular natural scenery. After a buffet lunch on board, our next stop is James Bond Island, where the James Bond film “The Man with the Golden Gun” was filmed. We will see the island’s famous rock and beach, followed by free time to shop with the island’s Muslim villagers and take plenty of photographs. Our final stop after James Bond Island will be Lawa Island or Naka Island, where we can snorkel, swim, sunbathe and relax on the beach (to be decided according to weather conditions). After an early breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to Phuket Airport. Following passport and baggage formalities, we fly to Singapore with a local airline. Upon arrival in Singapore, we board our private coach waiting at the airport and depart for a panoramic city tour. Sights include the Singapore River, Parliament, the Opera House, the courthouse and the Merlion monument. In the evening, guests who wish may join our optional “Garden By The Bay” excursion (60 Euro). We admire Singapore’s beautiful night-time illuminations and stroll along streets that are lively at all hours. Our first stop is the world-famous Gardens by the Bay, a 101-hectare (250-decare) nature park in Singapore’s Central Region, beside Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (Marina South), Bay East Garden (Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (Downtown Core and Kallang). The largest is the 54-hectare (130-decare) Bay South Garden, designed by Grant Associates. Its Flower Dome is the world’s largest glass greenhouse. Our first stop is Singapore’s National Orchid Garden, the first and only tropical botanical garden to be inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2015. The garden is also the world’s leading botanical institute. With more than 1000 species and 2000 hybrids, the magnificent flowers of the National Orchid Garden offer a truly unmissable sight. We then continue to Sentosa Island, Singapore’s first and only entertainment island, where Singaporeans spend their weekends. After reaching Mount Faber by coach, we take a cable car 100 metres above sea level, offering panoramic views of the entire island from the air. Our first visit on the island is to the Image Of Singapore museum, which presents Singapore’s rich and colourful 200-year history. Our next stop is Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, one of Sentosa Island’s attractions. Get ready to become part of the story and experience fame in Singapore with more than 80 celebrity wax figures from Asia, Hollywood, Bollywood and beyond. After the tour, enjoy free time to relax and explore the island. We then transfer to our hotel in Singapore for free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Malaysia by private coach. Guests who wish may join our optional “Melaka” excursion (45 Euro). The historic UNESCO World Heritage city of Melaka was formerly a Portuguese, Dutch and British colony and the starting point of the famous Spice Route. Located 160 km south of Kuala Lumpur, Melaka is one of the country’s most important historic areas. It was founded by Parameswara, a Hindu prince from Palembang. Melaka was also ruled by the Portuguese, Dutch and British, and the remains and buildings from these conquests can still be seen today. We visit historic monuments from these 3 colonial periods and the City Centre. Following our arrival in Malaysia, we take a panoramic city tour to introduce Kuala Lumpur. Sights viewed panoramically include Merdeka Square, the National Mosque, the National Monument, the Sultan of Malaysia’s palace (exterior), Chinatown and Kuala Lumpur Tower.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional “Batu Caves” excursion (35 Euro). We visit Batu Cave, set within a 130-million-year-old limestone hill. Monkeys greet us at the entrance. We climb 272 steps to visit the Hindu temple inside the cave and see the highest shrine dedicated to Lord Muruga. After the excursion, we transfer to our hotel in Kuala Lumpur for free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport at the time specified by your guide. After baggage, ticketing and customs formalities, we will fly to Doha on a scheduled Qatar Airways flight. Upon arrival in Doha, we will connect to our scheduled Qatar Airways flight to Istanbul.
