We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul New Airport three hours before our flight. After baggage, ticketing and boarding formalities, we depart for Tunis on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival at Tunis Airport, we transfer to our hotel in our private coach waiting at the airport. Sights on the city tour include Bourguiba Avenue, where you will feel as though you are in France; the Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul, dating back to the 19th century; the statue of Ibn Khaldun, one of the renowned Arab scholars of the Middle Ages; and the clock tower, considered a symbol of Tunis. We then depart for our Nabeul tour. As we wander through the atmospheric streets of Nabeul, the capital of ceramics and pottery, we will see many traditional Tunisian items, including copperware, leather goods, embroidery and cradles. We then head to Hammamet, nicknamed Tunisia’s Saint-Tropez, built by the sea with rooftop terraces offering magnificent views. In addition to its long, clean sandy beaches and azure sea, sights in Hammamet include splendid parks, lush gardens, fortress walls, streets and the Great Mosque, which has preserved the city’s rich history. After the tour, transfer to the hotel and free time to relax. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
