April 2027

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day1Istanbul – Milan - Savona

We meet at Istanbul New Airport 4 hours before departure and, after completing check-in, fly to Milan (MXP) Airport. Upon landing at Milan Airport, we transfer to our ship at the port of Savona.

  2. Day2Civitavecchia (Rome) | Rome City Tour

After breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional Rome City Tour organised by our guide at an additional charge. On this full-day tour, we board the coach waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port and reach Rome after a journey of 1 hour and 15 minutes. We then take a panoramic coach tour, with sights including Castel Sant'Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, the Theatre of Marcellus, Circus Maximus and the Forum sites. We then explore Rome's famous squares on foot. Sights include Piazza della Rotonda, Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain, before we finish our tour at the Spanish Steps and enjoy a shopping break. At the end of our tour, we return to the ship. Dinner and overnight accommodation on board.

  3. Day3Naples | Pompeii & Naples City Tour

After breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional Pompeii & Naples City Tour organised by our guide at an additional cost. Naples, the famous port of the Campania region, is one of the few European cities where antiquity has never entirely disappeared. Founded by the Greeks and developed and expanded by the Romans, the city became a prized treasure for foreign invaders over the centuries. The legacy of this past is a noisy metropolis with a high crime rate, somewhat unkempt and chaotic, yet well worth visiting. As we explore the human remains and houses in Pompeii, buried beneath the ashes of Mount Vesuvius, you will witness nature’s power and the incredible devastation it can cause. We then visit Naples, where a panoramic coach tour is followed by a visit to the Royal Square. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.

  4. Day4Palermo | Cefalu & Palermo Tour

After breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional Cefalu tour organised by our guide at an additional charge. We visit the famous fishing town of Cefalu, Sicily's most popular holiday resort, with its enchanting past and colourful landscape blending into the sea and sky. Located east of Palermo on the Tyrrhenian coast, Cefalu is one of Sicily's leading tourist destinations, known for its narrow medieval streets, houses, turquoise sea and long sandy beach. This typical fishing town's main attractions include its famous 12th-century cathedral and historic washhouse dating from Roman times. On our return from Cefalu, we will have time to explore Palermo, depicted in films as the centre of the Sicilian mafia. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.

  5. Day5Malta - La Valletta | Mdina & Mosta & Marsaxlokk

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional Mosta & Mdina & Marsaxlokk tour organised by our guide at an additional cost. Our first stop is Mosta, where we visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, which has Europe’s third-largest dome. With an external dome diameter of 56,2 metres, this enormous basilica features interior paintings primarily by Giuseppe Cali. We will see a replica of the 200 kg bomb dropped by Nazi German aircraft during World War 2 in 1942, which pierced the dome and struck the church floor without exploding, and learn about the church’s interior and exterior architecture. We then visit Mdina, Malta’s former capital, which served as a filming location for many scenes in the famous series Game of Thrones. Walking through the narrow streets of this medieval city, known as the Silent City, we will see the magnificent Saint Paul’s Cathedral, the 13th-century Falson Mansion built by the noble Maltese Falson family, the 17th-century Baroque Carmelite Monastery, Vilhena Palace and Mdina’s old houses. We continue our tour with a visit to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Be sure to admire the charming small fishing boats known as Luzzo, with their distinctive Maltese colours and design. During free time in this lovely fishing village, which also hosts an open-air market, guests who wish can have lunch at local restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood. After our free time, we transfer to our 5* MSC World Europa ship for check-in. Dinner and overnight on board.

  6. Day6At Sea

We spend the entire day at sea, a perfect opportunity to enjoy this magnificent ship. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet restaurant, offering a variety of dishes freshly prepared by dedicated chefs to suit every palate, or at your reserved seat in the à la carte restaurant. During the day, you can take yoga and fitness classes, play outdoor tennis, volleyball and basketball, or use the gym equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, including strength-training machines. After dinner, you can spend time in the ship's lively bars and cafés listening to live music, attend Broadway-style musical theatre shows or try your luck at the casino. Dinner and overnight on board.

  7. Day7Heraklion (Crete) | Crete Island Tour

After breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional Crete Tour organised by the ship at an additional cost. On our tour of Crete, which has always been one of the Mediterranean’s most important islands, sights include Plateia Elefterias (Freedom Square), Agios Titos, Rasih Bey Mansion, Agios Minas Cathedral, the Ottoman Bon Marche Building, the Valide Sultan Mosque Fountain, the Evkaf Building, the Morosini Fountain, the Ottoman Barracks, the Venetian Loggia, the Venetian Harbour and the shipyards. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.

  • The flights listed in the itinerary have been obtained from the relevant airline and cruise company. Our agency is not responsible for any changes to flight times. Our agency therefore reserves the right to amend the itinerary in the event of any schedule changes.
  • The operating agency reserves the right to change flight routes and times when deemed necessary. For example, for a cruise departing from Marseille, a flight route announced as Nice may be changed to Marseille, or vice versa. Neither the sales agency nor the operating agency is responsible for domestic tickets purchased independently by guests joining the programme from outside Istanbul.
  • The operating agency reserves the right to change the content of shore excursions when deemed necessary.
  • For connecting flights requested at the time of booking or afterwards, the relevant airline reserves the right to change the connecting flight times.
  • The documents required for visa applications are provided within 48 hours. You must request your visa confirmation letters from your agency at least 2 days before your application.
  • Guests are responsible for their own belongings at airports and ports, and during round-trip transfers between airports and ports. No agency representative, guide or driver is authorised to accept luggage for safekeeping or can be held responsible for it.
  • During the cruise, 2 dinners are formal dinners. Male passengers wishing to attend must bring at least one suit, and female passengers must bring at least 1 evening dress.
  • THE CRUISE COMPANY AND THE CAPTAIN RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE ROUTE AND PORT TIMES BEFORE OR DURING THE TOUR.
  • During the cruise, the restaurant and tables for our group's evening meals are generally assigned in advance, with table numbers allocated by name, depending on the cruise company. Some cruise companies offer open seating. On ships with assigned tables, guests will sit at their designated tables from the first evening meal through to the last. Guests may also dine at other restaurants on board, subject to arrangements made by authorised ship personnel.
  • At cruise check-in, every passenger without exception (only 1 person per couple) must present a credit card or pay a cash deposit at the ship's reception when collecting cabin keys. An authorisation hold averaging 300 euro will be placed on each credit card presented. This is to cover onboard spending during the cruise after check-in. Onboard purchases, including soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, can be made using the magnetic cards issued by the ship's reception. Cash is not accepted anywhere on board except in the casino. You can view all your spending on the television in your cabin.
  • For the start of the cruise, colour-coded luggage tags for all luggage belonging to our group will be sent to you with your cruise ticket. You must attach these tags to your luggage at the cruise port.
  • Your luggage may not reach your cabin until late in the evening on the ship's first departure day. This is due to the volume of luggage and passengers and is entirely the ship's responsibility. We therefore recommend carrying your essentials for the first day on board in a small hand bag.
  • The ship's departure times must be strictly observed. At each port, you must be on board no later than 60 minutes before departure. Otherwise, you may not be allowed to board. Our agency will not be responsible in such cases.
  • At the end of the cruise, you must pack your luggage, attach the tags delivered to your cabin in advance, and leave it outside your cabin door by 00.00 the night before disembarkation. After completing disembarkation procedures, guests will collect their luggage from the area designated for our group's luggage. WE STRONGLY REQUEST THAT EACH GUEST PERSONALLY HANDLE AND CHECK THEIR OWN LUGGAGE BEFORE COLLECTING IT.
  • Passports issued more than 10 years ago cannot be used for international travel, even if they have not expired.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the tour end date.
  • Your passport must not be torn or worn.
  • The sales agency and the passenger are responsible for the relevant visa procedures for each programme. Details of the visa required for each tour can be found in its itinerary.
  • ALL GUESTS MUST CARRY THEIR ROUND-TRIP FLIGHT TICKETS AND CRUISE TICKETS WITH THEM.
  • We recommend that guests enable international roaming on their mobile phones.
  • Ships generally use Euro or USD, depending on the region in which they sail. On the first day on board, you can pay a deposit into your cabin account by cash or credit card using the machines on the ship.
  • All programmes require a minimum of 20 participants (10 cabins). The operating agency reserves the right to cancel the tour 1 month in advance if the minimum participation requirement is not met. An alternative programme may be offered to guests.
  • Cancellation conditions are specified separately in the details of each programme.
  • The captain has the right to remove guests from the ship if they physically or verbally abuse ship personnel during the tour. In such cases, no refund will be issued to the passenger.
