Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day1Istanbul – Barcelona

We meet at Istanbul New Airport 4 hours before departure and, after check-in, take our flight to Barcelona (BCN) Airport. Upon arrival, we transfer to the port.

  2. Day2Marseille | Aix-en-Provence & Marseille City Tour

After breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional "Aix-en-Provence & Marseille City Tour" organised by our guide at an additional cost. We begin with an approximately 20-minute walk from Marseille Port to our coach, followed by a pleasant journey of approximately 40 minutes to Aix-en-Provence, one of the most elegant cities in southern France. Founded during the Roman Empire, this historic city is regarded as the cultural capital of Provence, with its narrow streets, elegant squares, stone mansions and hundreds of fountains. The birthplace of the celebrated painter Paul Cézanne, Aix-en-Provence has also inspired many artists and writers, notably his childhood friend Émile Zola. During our walk through the city centre, we will soak up its historic atmosphere and discover the spirit of Provence through flower-adorned balconies, elegant architecture and fountains that are works of art in their own right. We then return to Marseille to begin our city tour. In France's oldest city and one of the Mediterranean's most important ports, we first enjoy a panoramic view of the Old Port (Vieux-Port), considered the heart of the city. We then visit the city's most iconic landmark, the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde, perched on a high hill overlooking Marseille. Built in the 19th century, this impressive building is one of Marseille's most visited attractions, offering magnificent city views and a golden statue of the Virgin Mary, regarded as the protector of sailors. Our tour continues to Palais Longchamp, known for its grand architecture, monumental fountains and lush gardens. We view the exterior, gardens and magnificent fountains of this impressive building, which now houses the Museum of Fine Arts, and stop for photographs. After the tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.

  3. Day3Savona | Portofino Tour

After breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour organised by our guide at an additional cost. Our private vehicle will be waiting at Savona Port to take us to Rapallo, one of the elegant coastal towns of Liguria in northwestern Italy. From here, we take a scenic boat trip to Portofino, accompanied by the deep blue sea and lush green hills of the Ligurian coast. During free time in Portofino, one of the Italian Riviera's most sought-after destinations with its colourful houses, natural harbour and exclusive atmosphere, guests may walk up to the historic Church of San Giorgio to admire exceptional panoramic views of the village and the Mediterranean, relax at stylish cafés around the natural harbour or browse boutique shops. Portofino's colourful architecture, lush scenery and turquoise sea provide beautiful backdrops for photographs. After our tour, we set off for Savona. If time permits on the way back to the ship, we will enjoy a panoramic city tour of Genoa, offering the opportunity to discover one of Italy's major port cities from our coach. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.

  4. Day4Naples | Pompeii & Naples City Tour

After breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional "Pompeii & Naples City Tour" organised by our guide at an additional cost. We begin by visiting the ancient city of Pompeii, one of the world's most important archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Buried under volcanic ash following the massive eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79, Pompeii has survived almost intact for centuries and offers one of the finest insights into everyday life during the Roman Empire. As we walk through its ancient streets, viewing stone roads, villas, temples, baths and buildings that shed light on life at the time, we will gain a vivid sense of nature's impact on human history. We then head to Naples, one of Italy's most distinctive cities. Founded by the Greeks and developed under the Romans into one of the Mediterranean's most important cities, Naples captivates visitors with its historic character, lively streets and unique atmosphere. After viewing the historic port area and major landmarks during our panoramic city tour, we visit Piazza del Plebiscito (Royal Square), one of the symbols of Naples. Following a short photo stop in this square, one of the city's main gathering places with its grand buildings and historic atmosphere, we return to our ship at the designated time. Dinner and overnight on board.

  5. Day5Palermo | Cefalu & Palermo Tour

After breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional Cefalù & Palermo Tour organised by our guide at an additional cost. Our first stop is Cefalù, one of Sicily's most popular seaside towns on the Tyrrhenian coast. We enjoy a walking tour of this charming fishing town, which captivates visitors with its narrow stone streets dating from the Middle Ages, colourful houses, golden beaches and turquoise sea. The town's landmark, the 12th-century Cefalù Cathedral, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sicily's most important examples of Norman architecture, while the historic Medieval Washhouse (Lavatoio Medievale), dating back to Roman times, is among the area's most intriguing sights. After our visit to Cefalù, where the historic atmosphere and sea views provide memorable photo opportunities, we head to Palermo, the capital of Sicily. Home to many civilisations throughout its history, from the Phoenicians and Arabs to the Normans and Spaniards, Palermo is known both for its rich cultural heritage and for world-famous films and novels about the Sicilian Mafia. During our time in the city, we will have the opportunity to discover Palermo's distinctive atmosphere and experience its historic character. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.

  6. Day6La Goulette | Sidi Bou Said & Tunis Medina Tour

After breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional Sidi Bou Said & Tunis Medina Tour organised by our guide at an additional cost. This tour in Tunisia, one of North Africa's most fascinating destinations, offers a combination of history, culture and shopping. We first explore the historic atmosphere of Carthage, considered one of the most important cities of antiquity and closely associated with the famous commander Hannibal, one of Rome's most formidable rivals. We then head to Sidi Bou Said, one of the Mediterranean's most photogenic towns, with its whitewashed houses and blue doors and windows. During our walking tour of this enchanting seaside town, which has inspired painters, writers and musicians for centuries, we will have the opportunity to capture memorable photographs of its narrow streets, bougainvillea-adorned houses and exceptional views over the Mediterranean. We then head to the modern centre of Tunis and explore its historic heart, the UNESCO-listed Tunis Medina. In this authentic district, known for its narrow streets reflecting traditional Arab architecture, historic buildings and souks where trade has flourished for centuries, we discover the city's cultural character. During free time, you can shop for local products and handicrafts, sample Tunisian cuisine or simply enjoy the historic atmosphere. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship.
