November 2026

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day1ISTANBUL – ROME – VATICAN (San Pietro)

We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport three hours before departure. After completing baggage, ticketing and boarding procedures, we fly to Rome on a scheduled AJet flight and board our private coach waiting at the airport. We depart for St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, considered the centre of Christianity. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to visit the Basilica and the Square, followed by our Rome city tour. Sights on our city tour include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Venice Square, where Mussolini addressed the public, and the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiatorial contests; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; and the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps, with the Fountain of the Old Boat at their foot. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Rome. Overnight at our hotel.

  2. Day2ROME – CASTEL GANDOLFO & LAKE NEMI & LAKE ALBANO – OUTLET – ROME

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the Castel Gondolfo area. Known as Nemi Village, this area welcomes you with colourful houses adorned with flowers in their windows, stone streets and charming shops displaying and selling its famous wild strawberries. The magnificent lake views will make you feel as though you are in a fairy tale. During our visit to Castel Gondolfo, situated on the shores of Lake Albano, we continue our walk through the area, where we will see the Pope's summer residence. We take a short journey into history in this unique town, which also served as a summer retreat for many Roman emperors. We then depart for a visit to an outlet centre, where you will have time to shop. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Rome and free time. Overnight at our hotel.

  3. Day3FLORENCE – PIENZA – SAN GIMIGNANO – FLORENCE

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site regarded as one of the finest examples of Renaissance urban planning. In this charming Tuscan town, the birthplace of Pope Pius II and rebuilt according to the concept of the “ideal city”, we enjoy a walk taking in Pienza Cathedral, Palazzo Piccolomini and views of Val d’Orcia. After free time in Pienza, renowned for its world-famous Pecorino cheeses, we depart for San Gimignano. Here, where you will feel transported back to the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and Piazza della Cisterna. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Florence. Overnight at our hotel.

  4. Day4FLORENCE – PORTOFINO – PISA – FLORENCE

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our next destination, Portofino, a favourite of the jet set and the inspiration for popular songs such as “I Found My Love in Portofino”. According to the Roman writer and philosopher Pliny, this charming fishing town took its name from the abundance of dolphins in the bay, evolving from Portus Delphini into its present name. It is known for its narrow streets, slender colourful houses and variety of fish dishes. After our boat tour in Portofino, we depart for Pisa, famous for its leaning tower, regarded as one of the world's most significant historic monuments. Our panoramic evening tour of the illuminated city includes the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery and Piazza dei Miracoli. Guests who wish may take photographs at their leisure in this historic city. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Florence and free time. Overnight at our hotel.

  5. Day5FLORENCE – VENICE

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. On our city tour of Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the home of Pinocchio, we first view the exterior of Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Europe's 4th-largest church, immediately recognisable by its orange dome. One of its most striking features is the bronze door (the baptistery door, known as the Gates of Paradise), depicting stories of prophets from the Old Testament, some of whom are also mentioned in the Quran. Other sights include Giotto's Bell Tower, once used to summon the public to parliament; Piazza della Signoria, Florence's political and social centre for centuries and home to Michelangelo's famous statue of David; and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), renowned for its antique and jewellery shops. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Venice and free time. Overnight at our hotel.

  6. Day6VENICE – MILAN

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Venice city tour. Commentary will be provided aboard the vaporetto. We will see the city's iconic landmarks, including St Mark's Square, built of stone and marble with columns brought from Istanbul; St Mark's Basilica; the Doge's Palace, designed and used as a symbol of splendour and power; the Clock Tower; the Bridge of Sighs; and the historic Campanile bell tower. After the tour, we depart for Milan at the time advised by our guide. En route, we stop in Peschiera for photographs overlooking Lake Garda. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Milan. Overnight at our hotel.

  7. Day7MILAN

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our programme with a Milan city tour. One of Europe's fashion capitals, Milan also stands out for its cuisine, opera, churches and priceless works of art. Italy's business and financial capital is also an ideal destination for shopping, nightlife and dining. We will see the famous La Scala opera house, Piazza del Duomo and the cathedral, La Galleria, where you can enjoy shopping at many renowned brands, and Porta Romana, followed by free time. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Milan and free time to relax. Overnight at our hotel.

  8. Day8MILAN – BERGAMO – ISTANBUL

Tour conditions and notes

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Our tour requires a minimum of 40 participants. If there are insufficient participants, the agency's latest cancellation notification date is 21 days before departure. You will be notified through your agency if the tour is cancelled due to insufficient participation.
  • Where the itinerary specifies only a hotel category without naming the hotel(s) and/or lists alternative hotels for the same destination, your agency will inform you of the hotel(s) 48 hours before departure.
  • During trade fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments and similar periods, hotels may be located farther away than the stated distances in km or in a different city. In such cases, your agency will notify you 48 hours before departure.
  • The panoramic city tours included in the package provide a general introduction to the cities and are conducted entirely from the vehicle with commentary from the guide. They last no more than 2-3 hours and do not include admission to museums or archaeological sites. Fly Express is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours specified in the itinerary cannot take place because local authorities prohibit visits or entry at the scheduled date and time, because of events or road closures, or because weather conditions make the tour impossible. Where roads are closed or vehicle access is prohibited, some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where possible.
  • Rooms for 3 guests are subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the 3rd guest is smaller than a standard bed. Rooms for 3 guests consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are folding beds or sofa beds. Participants making reservations for a 3rd guest and/or a child are therefore deemed to accept the bed type and any limited space in the room. Child discounts apply to only one child within the applicable age range sharing a room with 2 adults. Hotels do not guarantee beds for children aged 0-2.
  • Hotel breakfasts included in the tour programme reflect the breakfast traditions of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, comprising butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee. Groups may be served in a separate room allocated to them.
  • As tour flights are booked with group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the latest flight details with your agency. Your agency will provide the updated times with the tour information.
  • Tour flight times must be confirmed before purchasing domestic flights. If a guest purchases a domestic connecting flight independently from a provider other than the agency, they cannot claim any refund from the agency if the tour is cancelled by the agency or the flight times change. By purchasing the tour, the guest accepts in advance any financial or non-financial losses that may arise from the cancellation or alteration of the tour. Fly Express cannot be held responsible for these circumstances.
  • Under airline rules, if the outbound flight on a round-trip ticket is not used, the airline will cancel the return flight.
  • Guests joining the tour without flights must make their own way to the tour's starting point and arrive on time. Otherwise, they will be responsible for arranging all their own transfers.
  • Fly Express is not responsible if guests are unable to take their flight because they are not at the specified airport at the times advised in accordance with airline rules, fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete these procedures on time but are unable to board the aircraft. Guests who miss their flight are responsible for all expenses required to join the tour, including new round-trip flight tickets and transfers at the destination.
  • Tour participants are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports / identity documents. Fly Express is not responsible for items that are left behind, lost or stolen. If forgotten items are found, there is no obligation to return them to the country and/or their owner, and any costs incurred in returning them are payable by the owner.
  • In cases of illness, loss, theft or similar incidents, the guide cannot accompany guests individually, as the guide's priority is to keep the group together and ensure the tour continues.
  • When purchasing the tour, you must provide your name as it appears in your passport, your date of birth and your passport number accurately. Flight tickets are issued using this information. Any ticket cancellation or change penalties resulting from incorrect information will be charged to you.
  • Some airlines may charge for food, drinks and online check-in services.
  • Specific coach seat numbers cannot be guaranteed during the tour.
  • The times announced by our guide during tours are departure times, when the vehicle starts moving. Our guide is responsible for treating all guests equally and will depart at the meeting time without waiting. Guests who arrive late must make their own way to the next stop.
  • Optional tours are organised by the local agency providing our services and require a minimum of 20 participants. If there are insufficient participants, the tours may not operate, or their prices, content and vehicles may vary according to the number of participants. The guide may also change the days and times of tours according to the opening schedules of museums and archaeological sites and the weather conditions. A different guide may accompany guests on optional tours.
  • In our classic packages that do not include optional tours, participation in these tours is voluntary. Guests who do not wish to join optional tours arranged during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest stop along the route. These guests will be dropped off at the rest stop before the optional tour begins and picked up from the same location after it ends.
  • For programmes that include the additional tours, museum & archaeological site admission fees must be paid to your agency at the time of booking or to the guide during the tour.
  • The participant agrees in advance to join the tours specified in the itinerary without disrupting the programme and to pay the tour representative separately during the trip the amount stated in advance in the itinerary to cover expenses such as local guides, museum & archaeological site admissions, city taxes and audio headsets, where applicable. The participant has been fully informed of these arrangements.
  • Fly Express acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Scheduled and charter flights may be delayed, and flight times may change before the tour and flight. Fly Express is obliged to communicate these changes as soon as possible. By purchasing the tour, passengers acknowledge and accept that flight details may change.

VISA

  • Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye require a visa. Visa applications must be submitted with a passport valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip and the documents specified in the “Documents Required for a Visa” list.
  • The visa must be obtained from the first country of entry on the tour or the country where the longest stay is planned.
  • Green passport holders do not require a visa; a passport valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip is sufficient.
  • The visa information provided in the programme applies to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye. Guests holding passports issued by other countries should obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
  • Having a visa does not guarantee entry to the country. Passport control officers have the authority to refuse entry. Fly Express is not responsible in such cases; responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • To avoid problems with border officials in the destination country, passports that are torn, worn, water-damaged and/or otherwise damaged must be renewed. If the destination country requires a visa for citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility rests with the passenger.
  • When guests under 18 travel alone or with only one parent, border police may request a document showing the consent of both parents upon entry or exit. We therefore advise guests under 18 and their parents to pay particular attention to this requirement.
Cancellation policy
  • For cancellations made at least 30 days before departure, the full tour price will be refunded.
  • For cancellations made 29-16 days before departure, 50% of the tour price excluding airfare will be refunded. Airfare is non-refundable.
  • For cancellations made 15-0 days before departure, the full tour price is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
  • If a guest fails to join the tour on the departure date because they miss their flight, coach or other means of transport, the full tour price is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
  • If a guest does not continue the tour at its outset or during the trip, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, the full amount paid is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
